There are two pictures below showing two Auto Assassin plants, both of which are the same age, however the smaller one was accidentally stunted by breaking the tap root. - I re-potted a batch of plants after approx 2-3 weeks because I wasn't happy with the new soil I had been testing. About half had the tap root broken and so turned out stunted, all are now packed dense with bud like the one below. The fan leaves grew much smaller too.

I'll weigh them both dry for comparison when they are finished to see if there is any weight difference.

The interesting thing is not only do the stunted plants take up less room, they also seems to have as much bud than their counterparts, and are definitely closer to finishing with fatter buds and milky white trichomes vs clear. The stunted plants are approximately 6x6 inches.

Looking at the results so far I'm thinking this could be the way to go for SOG auto's.

I just chopped the stunted plant in the picture above and its wet weight is 51 grams. That should work out a bit less than half ounce dry. One of the other stunted plants was rotten in the middle, not sure what caused it, density perhaps?

Interesting thought but the difference could just be variations in phenotype. I think you would need to run a larger sample in a side by side comparison to see if it really makes a difference.

The mold could have been caused by the density of the plant restricting air flow. But I also expect your humidity was probably too high. Also maybe a lack of good air circulation.
