It is Happy indeed! This morning at 7:20 someone started to ring on my door bell like it was Doom's day :firedevil:
I jumped out of the bed and opened... Big black guy in uniform with a big package in his hands and asked:

I found out I prefer QWISO for it - it melts slowly and lasts longer, when I fill it generously in the morning I'm good till 4-5 pm (end of work) medicating all day with small hits.
Budder is probably better for the rig and evenings - one smashing hit and good night :nightdrag:
I'm about to improve my oil making skills and maybe stick to iso but I'm done with butane :no:

Quick question for the budder makers out there. I was just wondering if whipping your oil loses weight? My girlfriend and I are going to make some probably today and I was gonna whip it but she's worried that we will lose weight if I do that. I told her it would probably lose only a fraction of the weight from the butane being released but I'm not sure. Does anybody know what percentage of weight is lost whipping? If anything at all. Thanks in advance for your responses

From my understanding the yield of your budder has got very little to do with the whipping. Whipping traps air into your bho. It budders up and you get crumbly.budder pieces which to me give smoother dabs but go stale rather fast. Agitating trichs equals less flavor in my opinion, but not less yield.I prefer not to whip at all. I pop air bubbles with my torch in the pyrex dish then into the vac chamber it goes. I get a nice shatter that retains the terps nicely and the flavor is very very prominent.

Your yield is going to be different with every strain. I've gotten used to weighing out my dry material first so I can figure out my return. For something to be worth running, I've got to get at least a 10% return or I feel like it was a waste of time.and material that could have lasted longer had it been rolled up into fatties. So lets say you run an ounce of trim (28grams) and you got 4 grams of bho in return. To figure out the return simply use this formula 4/28x100. That leaves you with about a 14% return. Not shabby in my opinion.

So maybe do some test to see for yourself if whipping decreses or increses the yield. You'll only know for sure if you do a trial and error. Hope any of that helped even a little

when you whip it what you loose is hardly anythng maybe and i say maybe .1 to 1 gram so if you started with 1 gram of BHO and whipped it and weighed it again if the scale even moves it will be .9 like spels said your just aerating the BHO so your not loosing butane or terpenes or anything of that matter just adding some air , ive experimented many times oh and that budder looks super dank thanks for sharing
