Bushmaster’s Outdoor Season

Okay trying to get things started. Thank you I’ve got 5 seeds in each soaking. (Carmelita F4, Puckita Thumper, Citrus Noir Puckita, Puckita Carmen, Blue Hindu Carmelita, M. Thai Puckita) After about 24hrs and seeds look good (cracked showing life) I’ll be putting into 1 gallon pots to start life and transplant into 5gal or 7gal as they’ll be outdoors. Then after these have a decent start I’ll be getting some others started let’s have a wonderful outdoor season.

Alrighty today was day of getting the 1 gallon pots filled with soil. Then each pot hand watered to get soil soaked. I left them for an hour in sun to warm up while I got everything else ready. Since I don’t have the little plastic tags I just numbered clothespins (5) each #1-6 clipped onto pots. Most had 1/8” tails already , one set was vigorous with 1/4” tails and others just started splitting seed. I’ve got all planted little over 1/4 inch deep then sprinkled with hose. Now to keep fingers crossed we see some life sprouting up in about 3 days.

Damn the outdoor can be brutal. I checked on them and had 27/30 up or breaking through soil. Next day something chopped heads off so bird or bugs now down to 24/30. I’ll deal with what I have going and fingers crossed for the best outcome as time goes on.

Guess one I thought was a goner is small but making a comeback. I’ve got 25 of the 1gal pots in this kiddy pool that way I can bottom water them same way an Autopot system works. I did this last year with couple 30 gal grow bags running Apple Fritter photo fems.

Here we go a week later and looking good. I’ve got some 5-6 Apple Chem photos and 7 Gorilla Glue autos I’m waiting to sprout now to accompany this grow.

Still waiting to see if any of the last starts come up but I’m not too hopeful on this batch. Just went out to look give em a few more days and call it a loss. I’ll have my hands full if all the others turn out fems.
