just want to know if anybody has grown with these CFL's before, and if so, how was your grow and what type of yield did you manage to get? And explain your set up or chuck a photo up :) If anyone could tell me if they are suitable for my grow would be awesome.

Nice grow dude :d5: if you can do that with one duel spec, and two added 2700k, i'm sure i can get good results with what i've got linked and the T5's.

Hi Budson

Guessing those measurements are height width and depth. I don't have any photos of my old setup, but basically it was a plastic tool box

kind of like this but half the height

I cut some holes in for passive intake and out take and hung a 200w 2700k CFL with reflector and could pull upto a couple of ounces per grow (early days for growing)

You'll need to LST a bit and get a fan blowing across the tops of your plant, but should be fine!

eventually i got some extra CFLs in there (150watters) and did away with my reflector - but i think 200w with the reflector was the best setup (even if the reflector did take up head space)

Hope this helps a little

Hey blue! yeah that pretty much looks like my set up :) i have a exhaust fan suited for a bathroom/kitchen extraction, mounted and two intake ports i have cut out, i have a PC fan's i'll use for seedlings and a bigger desk fan for that "breezing" effect, And i was planing on doing a lot of LSTing to get a canopy like as if i had a scrog set up,
you two have helped me enough i think im set on what i've been looking at  with the training i'll surely have some type of okay out come :tiphat:
