Grow Mediums Coco 2 ways AK48 & Swiss Cheese

Yeah bro some plants like to take their sweet a time. Oh well as long as u go thru with the dry and cure as you normally would some trikes will still ripen up over time. Plus I hate harvesting when theyre young cuz they have that extra "green" taste... makes me wanna throw up just thinking about it. Nasty! It does go away with the cure tho. Happy new year brother!

Thanx Jay,
Got 'em all jarred up and I think they'll be fair autos. I keep 4 sets of scissors handy so I don't hafta get up and clean 'em so much, used all four for one plant...pretty gunked up! Smellin' great in the cure room!

...and yeah...my first harvests were too early...and yeah...the green taste is a total downer...and yeah, the cure is just as important as the grow!

Day 18:
Both happy and healthy. The Swiss Cheese in hydro is a little droopy but I'm not making any adjustments as I've had some temperature swings which are now under control. The AK48 in coco started off a little weak but has pulled thru and showing signs of greatness!

Just a little reminder for anyone who might run a hydroponic system:

The more water in your rez, the easier it is to control your pH. Let me be clear:
The more water in your rez, the easier it is to control your pH. In my experience (when mixing a fresh nutrient solution) the pH slowly begins to rise...for 12 to 24 hours...then it will begin to drop. There's no harm in letting the pH get up to 7.5, slowly. There's no harm in letting it SLOWLY drop as well...the roots will benefit from the full gamut of nutrient availability. This phenomenon is also an opportunity to add some of the more alkaline extras, such as SILICONE, to stabilize the pH. As long as it's dropping, add trace amounts of 'extras' instead of pH UP. You will be rewarded for your attention to detail!

I'm using 6 gallons total:
2 gallons in the rez where the roots reside
4 Gallons in the recirculating rez.
The solution is constantly moving and aerating at every opportunity

The Cheese is much more finicky than any other girl I've raised so far. Showing signs of pH stress now. Wonder what's next with her?
had a few like that no matter what I did just could not sort it out completely that's why I'm redoing black jack because even though I messed her up the smoke was top notch :pass:
