So here's my plan
2-mars 1600 LEDs
12-7 gallon fabric pots
Cyco coco coir pre mix
14inch saucers 2.5 inches deep
Drainage system from 1/2 hose and fittings
Plywood and 2x4 frame to lift plants about a foot off the ground to help drain
Pump/hose/watering wand to help me hand water easier and faster
Light movers, rails to be cut to optimize 60inchesx46inches lights cover 4.5x4.5 in flower
Some PVC covered 2x3inch hole fence to sit on top of the saucers to hold plants above the saucers to see run off and I'll use the fence to help pull branches apart to make big bushy big bud plants
General hydroponic 3 part trio, Cali magic, orca.... Was afraid to use my Humboldt master a and b ginormous and orca had sum issues getting dwc right with those nutes cut in half strength
Autoflowers planning on six vast and fast and six of my personal strain I'm calling purple skunk both really fast finishing strains..... Can anyone offer advice as to what I can do to maximize my yeilds I've never done Coco coir before and really want to a bunch of people tell me there growth is ten times better than soil and it's has tons of other bonuses ie no pests or less pests than soil

If i was going for max yeild in coco i would def look into an autopot set up. 2 x 6pot systems for what youve just described. Maybe youve already spent your budget though?

No I haven't spent any money yet but shooting for another Mars 1600 and if like to run 12 7 gallon plants trying to stay under 1300 total with a 633$ Mars light

I think the real key to huge yeilds in coco is multiple waterings. Can you visit the grow to water twice or more daily or can you set up a res and pump with drippers? If so you can grow monsters in much smaller pots.
If you can only visit or water daily or every other day then big pots might be better.

Just outa curiosity what went wrong with the dwc grows

I can water daily it's a get off work go home shower and water plants thing lol is my idea and using a pump and a hand held wand seems like it would work well I can set up a drip I have a Oasis clabber as well as outdoor sparayers I can use with a pump and a timer

I wish I knew more about these auto pots I found the systems for 300 each 6 3.9 gallon pots and a 12 gallon rez it be better if I know how to build them and just build my own lol

It just takes a bit of work getting the length of timings right- but when you do the system will basically run itself- apart from making up new res.
3x 1600w leds is plenty for 12 plants so wouldnt worry about a light mover
@Wile e Peyote you used to run coco on drip feeder any input

Here's an idea for a drip system
A drip system I put together autopots are easier in my opinion
hey dude heres what I used but you can source your own parts this is to give you an idea manifold like this
http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/5mm-Aquar...Switch-/311534224400?var=&hash=item4888e30410 make sure you match it to your pump get plenty of these all will be revealed get black so no light can get in
http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/5x-Standa...-T-Splitter-/110666127291?hash=item19c43717bb
and get lots of this as you can use it to make drip rings with
http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/4MM-FLEXI...LICONE-/171295427946?var=&hash=item27e200cd6a
now the pump again this is to give you an idea shop about do research
http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/SUBMERSIB...4b4bd0b3461e116889994f&pid=100505&rk=1&rkt=1&
now last but not least the timer again just an idea
http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/7-Day-Dig...itch-Socket-/272219101105?hash=item3f6185d7b1
and for your res you can use almost anything as long as its clean bigger the res less time filling also easier to adjust the ph the bigger the volume of water few examples 25 ltr bucket plastic bin I used a 60 keg drum hope that helps dude any questions give us a shout oh read what truu nows about coco theres some about building your own in there https://www.autoflower.org/threads/what-truu-knows-about-coco.20249/
https://www.autoflower.org/t...y2015-a-drip-system-for-the-rest-of-us.39812/ read that as well oh and for drip rings cut about 6 inches of 4mm tube get a t connecter join it both ends then cut or melt little holes around the ring not to big practice makes perfect good luck dude
but if you could wait till your next grow it might be worth going the autopot route
http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Autopot-E...756321?hash=item3cfb46c2a1:g:kIEAAOSwEeFVSiIY
its a 4 pot system but for that price its a steal you can remove pots so you can have 1,2,3 or 4 pots up to you then air domes
http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Autopot-A...998981?hash=item2106341b85:g:L7IAAOSw-W5Uz4b8
and a pump ive just bought one of these

well hope that gives you plenty to read up on gives a shout if you need anything else [emoji106]
But as sang says autopots are much easier hope that helps [emoji106]
