Indoor Come visit Wild Bill's Medical Grow Room!!!!

I start in root riot plugs, similar, but yeh i usually plant the plugs immediately after sprouting. Always have good results
I think I want to put the plugs in the small thin one gallon bags is to give me sort of a buffer and a plant being able to better Take advantage of the final large pot size. With those small thin transplant bags, there's absolutely roots everywhere.

I think I'm gonna do the entire run that way and have them grouped in the large tent altogether. When it's time to transplant them into the 15 gallon pots is when I'll move everything around and pot up that day.
It kind of depends on how long I leave them in the transplant bags, but I expect to be able to turn the automated watering on within the week of transplanting.

One thing I noticed when I used to used Blumat was that the flow rate decreased as the reservoir level dropped. I'd spend ages setting them up and come back later to find them not dripping as often grrr.
In the end I found out that you keep the main res topped up by having an pre-res that topped up the main res using a float valve and pump, and that keeps the drip constant.

That was 8+ years ago, so the kit might have changed, but it might be of use Bro.
Keep going full Teetee mate!:bighug:

Thanks for those tips! That was one of my worries. i'm gonna try to give them a decent head pressure. I do think though that I'm going to have to eventually increase the sizes of the two reservoirs. They're both only 7 gallons.
It'll just be another skill that I could utilize to grow my medicine.
I'm gonna do a few runs with this system. But I really kind of think my go to system will be the Tray2Grow with the GrassRoots Living Earth Bed. I just love that they run pretty much like a huge Earthbox in their form and function.

A friend called me this morning wanting to know about the next grow. While explaining a few things to my friend, I had an epiphany!

Since the intent of under Canopy lighting is to increase the quality of Flower, there is no need to run them in the vegetative stage. When flipping from vegetative stage to flowering stage, you're removing 4hrs of light and thusly lowering the DLI. By beginning the under canopy lighting at the same time as flipping, you essentially negate the lowering of the DLI.
There won't be that dip in the DLI that you normally see when flipping to flower. I haven't seen anyone say anything negative about turning the lights on full blast, when first starting using them. I think the plant will keep on trucking at the same rate And make it easier to translation to a higher DLI during the coming stretch.

When I flip to flower, I just don't blast them immediately to make up for the DLI loss. It usually takes me about a week to get back to the proper DLI. With this method there's no catching up and I doubt if there's much stress at all. Without needing to catch up, that's going to mean a bigger plant at the same stage of life. With the stretch coming on, Higher DLI and possible less stress will be even more valuable and beneficial to the plant.

And this grow is starting this week!

You are a master at growing autos. I presume you covered the topic, but I don't recall: What has lead you to grow photos? Do you expect better potency, quality or productivity (higher yield/time)? Or are some desired strains not yet available as good quality autos?
Or do you grow what your appetite wants? This time the strains are photos.

I experimented with a 45w bar as under canopy lighting to see if I could boost growth of a slower side.

To my delight, those branches grew vertically until they caught up.

I found that adding under canopy light can show up as light stress at the top of the plant. I ended up using a separate timer and reducing the under light exposure until she was happy.

Mastered? Hell no! :crying:
Just exploring Cannabis. :eyebrows:
I have Regular Autos, Autos, Regular Photos and Fem Photos. I've made seeds from all, except Regular Photos.

Each have their own place, advantages and disadvantages.
