Correct gauge pressure when pressing rosin ?

Yeah, like I said I usually press one 6-7 g bag and am sticking with the Dabpress calculations ive had luck with(that I think I have figured out?)
I determined it's the weed ,(I guess?) because I ended up with 3 different 24carat plants when I thought I was going to have trouble with the first 2, so planted a 3rd, and all ended up doing well !! So plenty of 24 carat to press

And so I tried again ,same results, so then I added some pressure and blow out and same amount.
so tried the 2nd plant and a lot better plenty of rosin flowing ended up with probably 12-13% return ,was better,
I guess 1st plant not as sticky(?) They did grow very differently, huh

The first small batch of rosin is very good though, and now that I know there's plenty left in the puck , there for future edibles !!!(YAH!!)
Yes I like that simple example LD, for some reason I think dab press calculations are reversed from that (?)
Thanks Folks !!

Anytime I try a second press its always very dark/oily, which I find less desirable, I save for edibles now.
same way kinda when I try more than one at a time, when I double the pressure ,always seemed to blowout(?)
also these last tries, I used the lessor buds, so im sure the nice big sticky buds will produce more.

I have a spreadsheet I use made it easier for me to see the different pressures when starting out. Now most the time I do the same press every time so I don't use it as much any more. You can use google sheets free or Microsoft excel and make you own the formula's are pretty easy.

You can see here how I did it example 1000psi gauge pressure total force delivered column is just =b2*gauge pressure column

Material pressure column =d22/h2 for 1000psi so all I have to do is input my puck surface area and materail pressures change

I don't think it's backwards pretty sure it checks out either way seems to work for me I know my pucks are pretty spent for good rosin after first press cause I've down many of second pressing never had much for returns. Plus like you say it's always darker lesser quality product so I leave it in the puck for infusing edibles

So there's so many variables to the return it's hard to tell I believe harvest and drying are huge part but at the end of the day strain is the biggest. I've had returns lower than 5% and over 25% it's so hard to tell. Big part of why I got the cannatrol too hoping to make that part consistent should help my returns I've always struggled with drying

This I what I have copied down from either dab press or the press club don't remember from where
