I’m gonna try this again lol. Here’s my Critical Purple from GCS on day 9, planted in FF Happy frog soil, 3 gallon clay pots, in a 32x32x63 power tent with a viparspectra 300watt reflector led and a Mars hydro 300watt led. I’ll be using FF trio nutrients along with some botanicare Calmag and some general hydroponics Ph up/down also a 6 inch I power carbon filter with fan and a 10 inch desk fan plus another small fan. I’ve been watering 2 cups of tap water every 2 days Ph at around 6.4. I can’t really trust this yellow 15 dollar Ph pen but atleast it puts me in the ball park, I’ve also got a liquid Ph test kit. It’s in my tent along side my Northern lights auto from GCS as well. She’s not really gonna amount to much so I’m hoping this grow goes a little better. All of my plants have gotten super yellow tips from the very beginning, all grew super slow seemed like compared to other autos I see on here. Even had a tangerine dream just die out of no where on me at day 32. For the life of me I cannot seem to get a decent size plant to grow for anything. Here is a picture of the critical purple on day 9, do these leaves look okay to you guys ? I thought I noticed a slight discoloration but I could be wrong.

Here’s an updated picture. Critical purple at 2 weeks, only been feeding Ph’d tap water to 6.4. Feeding about every 2 1/2 days now, already having troubles seems like the leaves under are turning yellow and dying off, and now the tips of the new leaves are burning, I’m starting to think it’s been this Happy frog soil from fox farm because I’ve had this with every plant I’ve tried, 3 different strains all from the same seed bank.

Have seen a few knowledgeable people on here mention that soil is a bit hot, might be worth looking for another medium to use...Biobizz,,Plagron etc may work better for you ( lighter mixes)

Yeah I’m definitely gonna switch to a different soil medium. This is straight happy frog soil 100%, I did soak the entire pot until run off prior to planting the seed. But for the time being what would you recommend? Flushing the soil? I recently had a tangerine dream seedling die off in the same kind of soil. Trying to avoid that again lmao.

Not sure a clay pot (with 1 hole in the bottom i presume) would work particularly well with flushing they certainly aren't good for drainage or airation but i'm no expert it may work..
I would give them a nice drink and leave them be for a while or start again with a lighter medium as it looks like your soil is causing you your problems ..Sorry i can't be of more help

A lot of biobizz users don't even use a PH tester just Lightmix,,,initial soak ,,plant seed and leave for a week or so,,it is what i'm doing as i want to keep it as simple as possible and anything that goes wrong (with the exception of pests etc ) is down to my mistakes..

Here’s some updated pictures on day 18.
Seems like my soil has torched the leaves underneath and the burns just keep spreading to the newer leaves. Switched to watering with RO water ph’d to 6.4. I feel like this ones small for day 18, as have all my attempts thus far. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Probably will start a super light feeding of veg nutes in about another week.

happy frog isnt hot, ocean forest is a little...they are both on the heavier side tho so if you put a seedling in it and over water, youre probably gonna have issues that may look very similar to soil thats too hot.
GC CP yields well and likes to eat...long flower time 10+ weeks..gets pretty big as well
maybe ditch the clay pots next time..they are of no benefit
you shouldnt add any nutes, they are already very dark green..water only or maybe compost tea or top dressing or both!

I’m not sure what it could be then, I’ve grown 3 strains in all the same type of soil, had burns on them everytime during the seedling stage. Yeah I’m definitely ditching the clay pots lol bad decision on my part. I thought about getting maybe a fabric pot, or airpots. I’m up for suggestions though. She does seem small still so I’m gonna hold off on the nutrients till she gets a little more size on her. Here’s day 21
