Not sure why no one has said this but why not make coconut oil you can them out into capsules and eat. I just eat the coconut oil frozen then thawed. It has a little more solidness I chew and swallow with hot coffee. I swish and hold in mouth under tongue like tincture, then sawllow. If on empty stomach has hit me in 15-20 mins. But capsules will have no taste but take little longer I think. I think any hot liquid helps get all oil down and absorbed under tongue better. But just eating works too, not the tastiest but fast no extra baking.

This thread reminded me that I have a cold long term extraction going on of VG and Zambeza Blueberry Auto. I just tasted it and it is incredible but not done yet.
Now @Mañ'O'Green you can't just give us a taste lol. You must go into more detail, I would prefer a vg tincture but am afraid I will waste my time and bud again. Lets hear it bud, very curious what you have for me...

This is my first long term cold extraction. You simply put some bud (1 oz. in my case) in Organic Vegetable Glycerin (6 oz.) in a non-reactive container (I am using a little stainless steel vacuum bottle) store in a cool place and wait 1 year. The ThcA is supposed to decarb naturally over time and all of the many components that makes whole cannabis such a great medicine are supposed to be extracted. It has been in the bottle about 4 months now. I used my most flavorful bud - Zambeza Blueberry Auto - by far my best flavored bud. I just tasted it as I read this thread and it is truly yummy :stir:. So stay tuned only 8 months to go.

I have made VG tincture for sublingual use in the Magical Butter Machine II but it did not seem to go after my back pain effectively. I have made excellent butter, olive and coconut oils that do work but decarbing the bud before processing (required if you want THC) ruins the flavor for me. I just don't like the toasty flavor.

I continued to experiment with extraction methods until I hit the holy grail - rosin. No solvents, best flavor retention and most of all controllable dosage that relieves my pain for 10 or more hours. Read my 6 Ton DIY Rosin Press (about $200 if you have tools and can use them) thread which contains my video on how to make rosin infused chocolate bars with a dosage formula that works well for me. I have made chocolate bars out of all of my strains and each carries the flavors and strain effects true to the bud. Indicas for night time, Sativas for daytime high CBD strains for days when I abuse my back. I wish I could give this medicine to everyone in need. Did I forget to mention that it gets you high as heck when that is what you are looking for! I have curled up in my chair telling myself "it is just the drugs,it is just the drugs,it is just the drugs" :doc1:. I was Saint Nick at the Christmas party and Father Time for New Years eve. My friends love this stuff.
