You can assume that the residue is 50% C and that 70% of the C will be converted to CO2 during the decay process. Assume that the C/N ratio of microbial biomass is 7.5:1. Answer the following questions. Show all calculations.


A. How many kg of C have you added to the soil?



B. How many kg C are released as CO2?


C. How many kg of N have you added to the soil?


D. How many kg of N will be needed to completely convert the residue to new microbial biomass?


E. How many kg of N will be mineralized/immobilized?

I have tremors in the nerve damaged hand..so I only shoot with the right.....I have a tripod too...I need to work on me camera skill this year...

Digi camera as sooooooo perfect...you just delete the out of focus ones..not like when you had to get them developed....if your shot was off you still had to pay for it.

Yup..charge you and call you a schmuck at the same time.....And..my Mom worked near the Kodak shot and the woman used to come and show them all the slightly Strange photos before you came to pick them up...

The lil guy is getting there..
I’ve been nursing him for a month and a bit..
Was completely lethargic when he first arrived.
Now he runs around jumping off furniture heheh.
We knocked out a bunch of parasites, now it’s this yellow fungus That’s left.. which is in the lungs or something...


He is in shed mode so there’s hunks of skin everywhere in the tank
