Man I’m stuck in a dilemma....

Always been at indoor dirt grower using mineral nutes, not totally diaaspointed but would like a small change in terms of faster growth. I’ve got 2 options.

One is coco all I need is a base nutes and coco and that’s it.... should be fairly simple. I only test my ph with manual tester and ec with a cheap meter which I got of net.

Two is dwc bucket with need too purchase air stones and pump... and just abuse nutes.

I’ve got a few risks, I don’t want too go into dwc without the proper equipment and I can’t really afford them at the moment either like a expensive ec pen and ph meter. Which I’ll need, but I know I could somehow manage with my budget kit. Don’t want too sacrafice on quality either. But flushing will be easier but using a 70 litre 4 plant bucket it will be pain staking filling and unloading the water every week. It’s not easy as I’m in the shed and want too be discreet and carrying big buckets back and forwards will be pain in the back side. And the discreetness will be completely lost.

I think I’ve found my own answer coco will be way ideal as my root zone in dwc will suffer so badly, yes I can secure the problem by insulating the shed, I might consider this but really and trully it’s all money that’s the biggest problem. I can buy the top notch auto ph reader and correcting equipment. Have a big Drum with water heaters too keep the dwc water at a stable temperature. I will probably only consider dwc if I inlarge my grow. But then at the same I won’t have much problem with a 70 litre bucket either if I add a small heater. But imagine walking into a shed with a water hose lol. Put 1 and 1 together.

I don’t know if there’s any point posting this know but maybe this advice can help somebody else aswell lol.

I’m also going too be running 24 hour lights, too keep temperature stable, and too avoid mold etc..

Hope it gets better for you. I'm fighting away some dental pain, can't chew on my left side and still have 2 days till I get into the dentist.
Worst!! Went through this not too long ago I ended up ripping my piece of tooth out then went to get the rest out.. instant relief after removing the piece

@Auto melt

I started hydro way back in the day with a simple recirc, continuous feed with halos over hydrotron, draining to sump and pumping back with an aquarium pump and a bubbler in the sump. I was using garden sieves as the pot.

I went rdwc and it's great but these days I use a pimped version of the above, see here.

It's easy easy easy, soiless and produces. Don't need to go to as much trouble as I have with ebb and flow or the in pot airstones and bio press, or add them between grows if you like!

Just a suggestion, I haven't tried Coco so it might be a good option for you

By the way, I only use pH drops and an EC pen

I am on my second DWC grow in a pair of one gallon tanks. I am happy to help any way i can, though there are many here much, much better at it than I. Not sure what the issues you think you are facing might be, but I stand with ya, bro.

What are the specifics of the environment you think you'll wind up with?

Dental pain is the worst. There really is no getting away from it.

Everyone is having a shitty day? What is going on...same with us here!! Weird, how so many can be having a crappy day simultaneously

I didn't have a bad day per say. Until i got home and found out the gf did and made sure to piss me off.

I did something like that once.... Had no way to pay for the procedure to remove a tooth that was killing me, so I decided to remove it myself.

I wound up prying it out with a sliver of wood. The relief was not really apparent for some time, but when it came.... it was like I had seen the light of heaven.

I am currently working on a time machine that can project me to the point in the future when it is time to harvest. It has been hard to attract investors, as you may well be able to imagine, yet I will press onward.

I'll keep you all updated.
