Howdy AFN! I've been a lurker here for some time now, learned lots of valuable stuff from all the growers/DIY'ers here. I just completed my first outdoor season and it went way better than expected, but with the opportunity to grow indoors I couldn't resist. I found this forum while researching autoflowers and found myself quickly bookmarking Mephisto threads. I now have 6 or so Meph strains in a 4x4 under a COB fixture that I built thanks to yall! I find it mind blowing how much information is out there now. I'm a Biology student that has always enjoyed working in the garden so this feels quite familiar, but at the same time foreign. I've been wanting to start a journal for some time now, but figured I should wait until I have some experience under my belt.

Don't be shy to post a thread in the new grower's thread. Sometimes we can pick-up things starting to go bad and offer suggestions before it gets serious. There is a lot of qualified friendly help here on AFN.

After this week of finals I'll get a thread started. So far I threw together a simple 4 light fixture. Seems to be working great for veg. I had to raise it so far up, the plants seemed to be growing only horizontally. Unfortunately I discovered DIY samsung strip leds after I bought cobs, so I'll be sticking with them for now and increasing that number to 8-12 cobs in the next 3 weeks or so! Thanks for the warm welcome y'all and I hope I'll be able to contribute in one way or another
