has anyone used the digilux hps bulbs?

Im looking to replace my bulb and they have more blue in them. so it seams to me that they would be almost perfect for autos

The Digilux 400W HPS (High Pressure Sodium) bulbs are favored by growers because of their wide color spectrum and efficiency. They are engineered for use in digital ballasts and feature enhanced red and orange spectrums (HPS), better color uniformity, longer bulb life and less lumen depreciation.Brand New Digilux 400W HPS High Output Digital Bulb!400 Watt 57,000 Lumens 25% More Light Spectrum Superior PerformanceLess Lumen Depreciation Can Be used in both vertical and horizontal fixtures Product Condition: Brand New Part Number: DX400HPS2 Year Warranty: (1 Year Manufacturer Warranty + 1 Year VMInnovations Warranty)

I had a 600 watter that I used for awhile before switching over to LEDs. It worked very well, about on par with the Hortilux.

@smurf its digital :thumbs:

@muddy thanks :smokebuds:

A digital ballast can't go w/ a cmh but...
Like muddy said this is a pretty on par bulb
if looking to save some cash though i would go w/
either a Summaster dual or a Gro-lux you can usually get about two or three of theese for the same buck depending on your area
and warrenties are tricky w/ bulbs i would rec if you buy from local store to have them scribe the date of purchase to get the best of your warrenty alot of places require this i replace bulbs all the time tha aren't out of warrenty because hey if they claim one thing they should do it:)
but if getting on line theese are much cheaper and for the price even if the digilux worked to specs you could have changed one of theese twice it will be far more in your favor cost wise and theese are great lamps
have used a 1000 watt Summaster dual for some sativa and auto projects long past it's estimated effency life but i am using it in a very tight space so it is more than enough regardless

They weren't coppied as the standard for no reason
Damn fine bulb there for sure
Honestly just about any combo bulb is gonna help w/ want you want really the choice is on the pocket
Hortilux makes a fine product and eventhough pricey will give you little flack if you did have a warrenty issue the bulbs will be quality for sure and are inspected to
all above listed would make a fine product for sure

Ceramic Metal Halide

It is the only bulb i will use in my 400 watters
but they must be mag driven ballasts to use them
