Lighting digital ballast/rf concerns

Hi Muddy, how many bulbs, and do you mix the color temp in the bulb group? I have a 4x8 Jardin, and would love to replace the HPS units with something "cooler".
Best to you!

Each fixture is 4 bulbs and they can be daisy chained together. Each bulb is 110 watts, 1 amp, so up to 16 bulbs can be run on a 20 amp circuit. I'm running 4 fixtures, 16 bulbs total, over a 4' x 8' area. Down the road I may add another fixture with 4 more bulbs but I want to do at least one more grow with them first. Currently I'm running three 2700ks and one 6500 bulb in each fixture. They do put out more heat than LEDs but far less than a comparable amount of HPS. They run both the 110 watt XHO bulbs as well as the 95 watt VHOs.

The manufacturer/wholesaler site has complete specs: http://www.ncwgs.com/product_info.php?cPath=43&products_id=1637. This is the same manufacturer who is now manufacturing the Bad Boy T5 HOs.

Best price I've found on them is here: http://www.plantlightinghydroponics.com/uno-vho-t5-lighting-system.html

??? I have never heard of this being a common problem, I may just be out of the loop but what does the cable man and RF signals have to do with cops and growing? I mean why is the cable man checking for RF signals? I have digital ballast and have always used them with no cable man or cops showing up. I want to know if it is a viable concern though, even though I live in Colorado and it is legal I still want to know if someone can detect my grow via RF signals being emmited by my ballasts(but even as I type that it sounds a little far fetched) do you have any links where people are concerned about this?

I've included a very good link on this subject.

Actually its not just the digital ballast, any HID can produce RF. The digital units however appear to be the worst culprits. By law, all devices that COULD produce RF are suppose to be sheilded, but we know how that goes.
