thanks everyone for your help , its been about 10 days since I posted so heres an update . both girls have come on leaps and bounds and are budding nicely , I have them both on 4ml bloom and 2 ml grow per litre they are both getting 2 litres each every other day and left to run off in the shower , I'm on day 59 from sprout should I back off on the grow now or keep it up till I flush on week 10 ? thanks in advance .it would seem like my problem simply was starvation , since ive upped the nutes thing are loking a lot better in there , these pictures were taken yesterday evening and just now

yea man the auto can be a tricky bitch sometimes lol ..you read they are light feed then you starve them lol If your under led give a lil more cal/mag and a lil molasses .Looking good from here.

Thanks DABaracuss , this is true as I was so afraid of over feeding that I starved my poor girls , now tho they both seem to be thriving . I'm adding 1ml of sugar Royal once a week on advice from the guy in the grow shop , at this stage should I back off on the grow nutes now or keep adding them ? Also I'm finding it very difficult to keep humidity down . my tent is 2ft x 2ft by 4ft high so I don't have any room to get another fan in there but I am upgrading to a bigger tent for my next grow so I'm hoping that will help . also with that upgrade I'm thinking of upgrading my light but I don't kno whether to go 600 watt hps or LED , I do kno one thing that I will be doing a grow diary on here so hopefully I can be steered in the right direction from the beginning lol , I've bought the seeds already they are world of seeds northern lights x big Budd autos .

sam-- much much better mate! nice save- ..... yeah, quite the grow now, but keep on the bloom for a bit more,.. hard to tell in the pics, but your trich should be inspected with at least 10x magnification to assess their color state: clear, cloudy/milky, amber (if any),... cloudy is peak ripeness, clear but full size is close,.. amber comes from past mature trich's THC beginning to break down into CBN, a very narco-sleepy cannabinoid,... Bud at harvest will still have some clear trich's on new bracts, but if most all are at least cloudy, you can take them at any time,... since you girls are eating fans, some of which is normal for this stage, you won't have to cleanse (no nutes, just water for a week or so) as long as usual IMO,... (flushing is when you run large amounts of water through the medium,... here at least, to avoid confusion, we try to keep the terms "cleanse" and "flush" well defined from each other)....
High RH% is a real enemy to buds mate, do what you can to get it down, or you risk mold starting,... is the outside RH fairly low? open up the tent some at the top, a little light leak won't be an issue,...
If you can swing the $$, go LED! Look and research here in our LED section, and consider COB LED's as well,.. Some of them can run so cool, they don't need fans, just good heat sinks! Check out BigSm0's AutoCOB's too,... he will happily answer any questions you have about LED,.. tell'm I sent ya! HPS is still great, but is hot hot hot unless ducted for cooling, needs high quality bulbs for best results = $$,...still suboptimal for growth!

Thanks waira , I cut the veg nutes today , still feeding at 4ml bloom per litre , both plants are getting 2 litres every other day , my extractor fans on top of my tent , I've 3 vents at the bottom I have opened , both plants seem to be visibly filling out every day and new growth is nice and green , am u right in saying these are 12 week plants coz in that case they have 4 weeks to go from tomorrow . I'm looking forward to my next grow already man this one is my second with a hps , I did a few grows years back with CFLs but I've never seen Budds like these before , thanks for all the great help and advise I have gotten on here .

Here's my girls today , week nine day two I bought a mini microscope 60 - 100x , all trics on both plants seem to be clear and colas are still filling out . I also got some pk 13 14 which I'm adding 2ml per litre . we are on the home straight now , its very stinky in there . I'll get a better camera for my next grow .

better! keep on the feed for now, and watch those trich's closely, daily,.. I think this girl is going to ripen fast, or at least parts of her,.. that bud on the left is looking close, if not there,.. if she's mostly milky, you're gold!

2 weeks to go , trichs still appear to be mostly clear , the main cola on the smaller plant is really filling out now , just bring it home now , the leaves on the bigger plant are yellowing it looks like she will finish before the smaller one ...
