Grow Mediums Do I have a problem? Root caught in netpot.

After changing the res I noticed the ph was way up for all 3 buckets :/ hopefully they bounce back after the res change




Babies doing well with all the knowledge I learned from the older plants mistakes but the res water is turning white/cloudy ..any suggestions?

Not much new growth today and pH had to be adjusted after 24 hours. Any Suggestions out there? Leaves look like they are curling down, growth is slow and i am just assuming its the pH fluctuation.(See pics above)

Hey Shotta, what I have found after growing in DWC for a long time is that if you have lots of air circulation that the PH is going to fluctuate more. The number one thing to remember is that you can never be too OCD about your PH(I check mine min 2 times a day) because you are giving the plant everything in neeeds to grow(unlike soil which has nutes in it naturally) the PH is the most important factor to nutrient uptake. It is a pain in the arse sometimes but well worth it in the end. If you seeing a white cloudy color to your rez I would check out this thread on the Hesienberg Tea, it is used to combat a kind of root sludge that is like clear snot. From what I have seen it works better than anything to get rid of it. I think I may use it after the first few sets of leaves because of the positive feedback it has gotten on maintaing a perfect root zone. If that doesnt work then the 8 step remedy will defentily work, if you have a root zone problem one of these two methods will clear it up. I havent read through the whole post but I am going to now, have you started feeding yet?

Yes i have started feeding i am using half strength veg nutes. My roots are looking nice now that i started using Voodoo juice but as you can see the new leaves are drooping at the top. this cant be good right? I could only think of the ph being the reason for it. How do they look to you?

So after all that..the slime is now full blown root rot..added some more voodoo juice but thats it....i think the bad bacteria is in the netpot so it might be here to stay...anyone think i can still pull it through?

Im going to treat it as normal and hope it gets better but ive already ordered new beans.. fuck root rot

Check my above post and click on the heisenberg tea link I provided it will get rid of the slime that is in your root system. I would do it as soon as possible, if that doesnt work(which I have never seen it not work) use the 8 step DWC remedy

Voodoo Juice brought the roots back x5

I ordered more voodoo juice..mycorrhizal juice and cannazym ..hopefully this can bring me through the plants full life cycle?? Pics incoming

Shes doing ok..Vegging nicely..about 9 -11 inches tall on day 28ish

After a new res with voodoo juice, mycorrihazae and cannazym the roots are doing ok but seem a liiittle brownish i am using canna vega which has a brown part A so i am hoping this caused the coloring..ill see in a few days. There is also a verrrry slight foam which ive noticed is normal after adding voodoo juice so it should go away in 24-36 hours

I wouldnt be worried about that except for the fact the the other plants roots have TURNED BROWN pretty much overnight after adding the same to the res. Also seeing little pieces of something floating in there...any advice?
