Hey guys, I was wondering what you do for plagues. Do you attack the problem once you detect it of do you have a schedule of regular preventive spraying?

My last Auto White Widow got attacked by leaf miners and mealy bugs, I have 2 photos in the ground in my garden at the moment and dont want to have this problem.

Im thinking a regular spraying interval of every 25 days will suffice, what do you think?

Your absolute best option is to keep the plant healthy in the first place. No spray can replace an healthy plant fighting back. If you already know you get pest problems in your plot you might be best with preventative care. If you use neem, azamax or another neem concentrate on a regular schedule early then it will go systemic by the time your plant reaches flowering. This means anytime something tries to snack on it, it's eating organic poison :)

Neem has always been my first choice. Does it mean I always spray with neem before problems happen? Not always, I get distracted easy. But when I can I always prefer to spray with that before anything happens. Outdoors I often put down some of that powder that keeps a bunch of bad bugs away before I even put my plants in the ground.
