Lighting Does 24/0 lighting reduce odour?

I know what you mean. Both on constantly for months. But they can take it and if not, time to shop.

Now temps are fine on this grow I can turn lights off if I choose. So I've decided to drop to 22/2 to see if I notice an increase in odour. Bit of an experiment. Inspired by oven dried popcorn Diesel.

I do notice that when my lights shut off, I start getting a whiff of heaven lol

When lights go out plants continue perspiration right? So combined with the humidity spike from the lights going out, and increases terpene production, dark periods can possibly increase the noticeable smell.

This seems to me simply because of all the "weed scented water" in the air, not getting dried up by the light.

I posted a link to a university article that did a study on plant growth differences due to variations in photoperiod. You might find this interesting, wasnt done on MJ, but interesting anyway.

Have to say I've kept them 24/0. Three reasons.... I found a seed in a popcorn bud and don't want any more stress, temperatures have dropped and lights off risk temps of 5 degrees C which would slow everything ..... and I'd like to see out the grow 24/0 all the way.

Slightly more smell as they flower more but nothing like last time still.

I like 24/0, to me it's just one long ass day your giving the plants but for their whole life...
