Live Stoner Chat Does anyone ever feel sad when chopping time comes?

Hi everyone,
I was just wondering if anyone ever feels a bit sad when it's time for chopping? Don't get me wrong i look forward to the smoke as every other lad/lass... but i have put a lot of time and love in tending to my girls and in a way i think im going to feel kinda guilty when i take a pair of scissors to them lol... Just wondering if anyone else had experienced this?

and Yes i did just have a smoke

I'm with Mossy I've had a couple grows that I just didn't want to end. Now, this blue velvet I'm chopping tomorrow... will replenish the stores! So, the trimmers be soaking.... lolol

Nurturing and Caring for your plants wellbeing is all part and parcel of the whole growing process, if you do it well? There is a certain sadness but, think of the benefits of your own smoke!

I do sometimes too, because I swear I can feel some kind of life energy in them. So I always thank them out loud for growing so well and making good medicine. I'm weird, yeah lol, talks to the plants haha!

Yeah that's another thing... i have kind of got into a ritual with my girls.. Every morning i wake up at 7am and make a coffee. Then i take that coffee with the 4ltrs of water/feed and my phone with speakers and play this song while sitting in the tent:

It's only weird when they talk back ,Brother.. lolol And, I do a sort of Native American Spirit prayer ritual when I chop... Think... Dances with Buds..... Tatonka!!! lolol

Nothing wrong with talking to your plants! Never heard of tree hugging hippies from the 60's?! Well on the other hand they were prob hugging the tree's because they had smoked some good weed or other things lol but that's not the point!

... you good little buds! get nice and fat for daddy/mammy!

Oh for sure! My most memorable was my first Syrup.... That was a love affair! Every grow I feel a little guilty/bad about chopping them... The Lady told me "they are gonna die anyway. Might as well enjoy what the are gifting you" so when you think of it that way... I just give em a kiss at the top of the cola and thank them for everything!

having not been growing for a long time 2-3 years.1st year was total crap,nearly gave up.chop time early on I coulda cried real tears 4 joints and this is gone.between a year 18 months was ok,I did start to take wet and dry weights still sad ish.last 6 months or so I havnt ran out between grows,happy harvests.im just chopping a dp starryder,biggest yield to date so so many bud sites.delighted at cutting her throat,im gona be so mashed over xmas.happy hols all.
