OK guys... not a lot to update on... but I have been reading and seen on a few other sites that mixing calcium carbonate with magnesium sulphate with water ..the right amounts will give your plants a great start and if you feed this once a week you can expect big buds in the flowering stage?

Can this be trusted or would you advise against it?

Just got done reading through your thread. I see your getting all the answers ya need. That's good.

While your ordering, get yourself some Epsom Salt. It contains all the MG and Sulfur you'll ever need. There's a lot of folks out there that believe the Cal/Mag supplements are efficient enough for the plants. But in reality, ganja is a huge MG and S user. Use 1/3 to 1/4 tsp per 3 gallons of water. Feed it to the plants twice during there cycle. Now would be the time for the first dose.

too wet , algae building up, most likely watering too often , even if its only a little at a time , too many times will keep the top wet

Yeah, scrape it off, let it dry out and only if the level is low then add fresh compo. I would guess that the algae is growing 'cus you have wet and humid conditions. Less water, check humidity and get some fresh air into your grow space. Maybe a fan. Al the best eP.
