New Grower Dutch Passion Auto Blueberry - what does it like?

Very curious to see if the Bluematics do any better than the ABs. Sometimes it just takes a while for a new strain to stabilize, I guess. When I first grew Gnomo 2+ years ago it was like that, very inconsistent in shape and habit. By the third batch I'm on now it seems to be more consistent. Still a nice small strain so long as you don't manhandle it.

WELL I FUCKED THAT QUOTE LULZ
It certainly would be interesting but this being my fist grow I have hit a whole wall of issues.
1) No accurate method of PH (drip test kit and water straight from tap)
However, I now leave water over night, planning on getting a bigger storage so I can leave it longer, I PH using a calibrated pen, and I will soon be EC the feeds and run off.
2) Drip trays to small and run off leaking all over tent, still need to find bigger ones.
3) Using (and overfeeding no doubt) organic nutes (biobizz grow) in my coco medium, this cant have been good for my poor babies, their website said its fine but after much deliberation I have now switched feeds to canna a/b and dropped feeds down to 0.5ml / litre.

Im on day 16 and still not got the environment and feeding the way I want it yet, so these babies are my test run, some leaves looks a bit funny, lights have changed, ph has changed, feed has changed so I'm not surprised they look a little odd and are behind schedule.
BUT they are alive! A liking the new lights and nutes in just one day by the looks of it.
So I am hoping with a soon to be finalised grow plan and some TLC, love and bit of PM evo spray they will be forgiving and reward me with sweet fruit :) even if the yield is below average I'd be happy taking just what I have learnt through out.

It would be interesting but I have given these little girls a hell of a hard time starting out in the world...feel like the joseph fritzel of the grow world right now :'(

Ill update on the weekend and throw you a link pal!

Hey EyesOnFire, what's the scoop with LST for the Pineapple Express? My girl is shooting up like crazy and I'm thinking it's time to bend her but I know not all strains handle that well. Gnomo hates it but I know Afghan Kush Ryders can take a lot of manhandling.

gaaaaaaaa I had to Google to figure out who Josef Fritzl was and then wished I hadn't! But LOL on the reference :)

I have just sprouted a afghan Ryder seed. Do they really take like 55 days?
p.s i also checked who Joseph frizel is haha.

It would be nice to compare but my ladies have suffer trauma, its like ermm day 17, and cuz of wrong ph, wrong nutes, nutes changed, lights changed, Im pretty behind.
But in a controlled non-novice environment it would be great to see AB vs Bluematics, sweet idea for a future grow there (Y) I am also going to do 4 x 8L pots (2 soil, 2 hydro) on my next run so I can learn both a bit better. Might get 2 AB and 2 Bluematics for proper controlled test. "Stirring""Stirring"

Will have an album up soon, check my profile or thread to see, stunted, nute burn, but coming along slowly now I have adjusted the feed and environment, heres hoping!

What I love about most plants is that they are pretty forgiving. My last grow, I was using a ph meter that was dying and I didn't know it, and it kept giving increasingly high readings, and I just kept adding more C to my rainwater, making everything worse. But even though I completely screwed it up for several weeks, they survived and gave me better bud despite their misery than I had any right to. Your girls will get back, sending happy thoughts :)

I can't be sure, I just explained how badly I screwed up my last grow so I wouldn't be a good judge. I've only grown it that once. I let it go for a really long time to recover from what I did to it but even so, I have a hard time believing 55 days, although I don't have a fancy light, so maybe it can be done under optimal conditions. It throws a bizarre number of white pistils and even after 90+ days they were still coming, so that made me wait. Also I don't ever try to rush it, I try to make myself wait a few days after I think it's ready.

I do know that I had to repot my last grow at about 3 weeks, and while the Gnomos were pissed about it the AKR just bounced right back, and when I bent the stem to keep it from getting scorched it bent a lot more than I would have liked, but it just laughed like I'd tickled it. Amazing resilience! And it's an awesome nighttime weed. But I won't try growing it again until I have a bigger box.

Yes all them white pistols are because it's like 22% ThC very good strain to grow to make hash! I will let you know how I get on with her. I did snap one of my girls the other day but she's ok lol.(not so resilience lol)

ROFL Ladies are looking quite forgiving already. Will get a link or pic up on the weekend :)
Im just worried now they are so behind, and with autos having a strict time line.
On day 19...with the stunting in consideration, I know you can't really say but roughly where would you guestimate flowering and bulb changes day wise?

And if you think my reference to FJ was funny, you should have seen the look on the guys face at lidl today when I bought a four pack of tinnies and a massive roll of duck tape.
When I saw what he was clearly thinking I asked if the shovels and stain remover were in stock :P
Priceless.

Ok, so I'm at about day 28 and the Auto Blueberry is still lagging behind. The leaves are looking clawed and puckered, but it somehow doesn't look like it's due to illness. Maybe I'm wrong... anyway, I guess I'm glad because pretty soon even with the shelf lowered it's going to be crowded in there so if the autoblueberry stays small it'll be easier to manage. Besides, I got an awesome pan of brownies out of a tiny little stunted plant from my last grow, it won't be a waste of time unless I kill it outright. Everybody looks pretty healthy otherwise.

stonedBRO, I don't usually change the lights, in fact last time one of the things that went wrong was that my 65s burnt out and I only had 35 replacements. I ordered more 65s but someone said it shouldn't matter so I didn't bother swapping them out so as to not have to drag the light fixture out of the cabinet. I wish I had as I think the 35s slowed things down. I am not a super-experienced grower but I've had good auto grows with just the daylight bulbs. I really only got started with autos since I could never get a really good setup for photoperiod weed and mostly failed on those.

Sorry to ramble, had weedy apple crumble pie earlier :) probably shouldn't on a weeknight, but Community's on.

They are pretty small for 28 days, it could be due to your lights or maybe the size of the pot. That third plant could be suffering from over-watering
