thanks man. ive decided im not happy with her though. shes too closely budded and she takes some serious labour time to snip and tie down. gotta abuse her in some way nearly every day and its doing my nut in. 160 days of it ive had this year. the whole reason i went hydro is because im lazy! . reeks my house out when im at it so can only do it at certain times of day. wich isnt an option now. i need to (go to bed) find a way to make the next one more lanky... and straight away ive just realised why they all stay so small. i keep my lights right on the bite point the whole way through.
i swear thats taken me like 120 days to figure that one out. see, this is why i go on rants lol it helps me figure stuff out. thanks man

some cal mag problem i can see but i think thats because of the LED. Maybe increase ur cal mag a bit

yeah man ive had that all the way through the grow unfortunately, shes always been slightly P deficient aswell. if you zoom in you should be able to see the purple leaf stems. im putting it down to the res temps though. barely ever had it under 30*c. calmags at about 1.5ml/L but i didnt go over 0.5 last time when the wether was colder. think next year im just gonna grow feb-may then august-november. summer growing sucks lol.

we also had the problem in soil with calmag, we ended up using the double dose (3.0ml/L) of what was recommended ( 1.5ml/L) and this finally fixed the problem.

what i want to say is, dont take the doses they print on their own product. try to find your own best dose for one plant and write it down to keep that value. Sometimes the values go up to the double or their recommendation so dont be worried, just read your plant.

ach i dont read the bottles ever mate. too lazy lol. i just paint by numbers. if the ppm of the res drops i raise it and vice versa. start at 100ppm and go up 200ppm whenever i get a P or K deficiency. base nutes go up by 0.5ml/L at a time and micro nutes at 0.2ml/L. i think feeding schedules are a bit counter productive for the learning curve. just been up to check though and shes grown another 3" since yesterday and spanked 10LITRES OF 1000ppm!! big bud drank 1.5L lol.

you certainly can good sir.
i started them under a 130w 14000k big bulb CFL reflector for the first 14-17 days. then once theyre transplanted they got 1 led for about 4 weeks then turned the other one on. ones led is sideways and angled so that the a/u gets 1 and a half of them to herself. ive got one of the infamous mars 600 and one chinese blurple advertised as a 600. i had them both tested and theres 540w between them. not a bad result for 2 cheap shit leds eh. the mars are only £120 on amazon last time i checked : )
i also keep them right on the point of almost burning the plants the whole way through. not sure if thats good or bad though to be honest lol

Thats good. Propably the the best girl ive seen so far under cheap leds. I think you are doing correct trying to give them maximum out of the lights, the AU can handle it. Dont think anyone will give you a B- on the handle of the Leds, Straight A+ brotha! Guessing mars-(tina?) would be over the moon.

hmmm did you spot my old account with my previous site? yes i know tina lol. had a slightly public barney with her i think actually. but thats anti vibe, so pm me if you like lol.

anyway, i think next time i will keep my lights 3" above the bite point. i try pretty hard to keep them 1 inch above burning the whole way through the grow.
the CFL starts at 20cm and i adjust it every 12 hours to make sure it stays exactly that for the first 7 days untill i get........
be back to edit in 10

then ill let it go between 22-18cm for the next 7-10 days untill i get... shit.. hang on... gotta keep flickin through and it reloads n fucks it up.

yeah so, once theyre at this stage they grow that quickly under the CFL that a 4cm raise every 36-48 hours will keep them right on the sweet spot.
from 14-17 days once the roots start poking out... aww fur fuck sake min!!

nah no more pics and im now a bit buckled lol.
but aye,once the leds are on i keep them 1-2 inches away from burning point. starts at 28" and works down to 19"-17".
the numbers are back to front because i raise the light then the plant grows up to it.
im now at 3" vertical growth per day and can see it all going horribly wrong. my temps and rh all over the place and im just not getting the time to look after her, but ... shes still happy. 90cmx80cm and 35cm tall : )
