Mephisto Genetics DWC Orange Biscuits (NEW TESTERS) (2 tents, 2 plants)

Being in dwc you can't control pollen release as easily and then you have a huge number of seeds you don't want on a huge plant you didn't want to pollenate.
I have the same trouble in my grow room. I went as far as punching a hole in a zip lock bag and placing it over the bud I intended to pollinate. Then I sprayed the rest of the plant with water and placed a large plastic bag over the whole plant. After making a hole for the zip lock bud, I un-zipped the bag and pollinated the bud inside and sealed her up for 24 hours. Somehow, after all these precautions, most of the plant ended up with seeds. So from now on, I would only consider doing it outdoors during the warm summer months. That way I don't have to worry about it and just let pollination happen naturally. :pass:

Day 21 on seedling 1. It's looking great but it has no legs to her at all. I hope it has some stretch. I moved up the lights further to hopefully get it to stretch a bit. I think I'll have a budsicle

These pics were taken on day 27. On day 25 and yesterday (day 27) i did some major defoliation to open up the plant as it's growing like a bush and so I'm shaping it as one.

And directly after her defoliation. She will be let go to do her own thing. I went very aggressive as she has a lot more leaves coming in quickly and they will support her throughout life.

Day 31 and she is happy. Just stretching herself out now. Shes a very short bush but I'm expecting another 45-55 days on her. I do love this size (after she pulled out of her clustered up phase) because it is going to prove that you can get amazing bud from a short plant and it'll keep it right at a perfect height for my tent. I know it's a bummer i went through all my OB seeds to get this one result that i have, but i have this feeling it's going to be budsicles up and down the width of an olympic lifter's leg. She was a hard plant to manage up until about 4 days ago and now she's called down and just started feeding well and just sucking up nutrients and water perfectly she's eating and drinking a lot now and is just about to start growing her final sets of main leaves before the preflowering starts in another few days. She will end up way bigger than she looks now. In another 30 days she will be taking half of this tent.

Thanks, the roots have exploded so much in the last week that the roots have pushed parts or the rapid rooter into the water as it's beginning to shred apart from such aggressive growth. I've seen this happen twice before. Both times this has happened it's given rise to plants that have packed on massive weight after a huge root ball buildup. I would imagine in 7-12 days the root system begins filling the entire bucket to the bottom.

I had added 1tsp azos, 1tsp mykos, and 25 ml southern ag biofungicide on day 27 as well to build up the roots more. I've noticed when you jam up the southern ag and add azos and mykos around day 28 the plants begin to rock it majorly. Especially with the biofungicide. DWC plants love that biofungicide not then anything I've ever used.

I have moved over to using maxibloom at 2tsp/gal, 10ml calmag/gal and (after this gallon was added), 15 ml southern ag biofungicide/gal. Ph'd to 5.9.

I've been having problems getting my images to upload anywhere, i am sorry it has taken me more than a week to update but I think I have it figured out and will try to have pictures taken in about 8 hours for everyone here. Sorry again for the delay. She has been growing well and I'm getting a beautiful bush turing into an even canopy that would have been a perfect scrog contender
