Welcome
Since my mail is running behind by a day i decided I'd put this up today and just update the thread when the seeds are in the rooters shortly.

Intro
I have been given the opportunity to test out a strain i always wanted to try.... ORANGE BISCUITS!

A big thank you to @stan_mephisto for letting me test out the updated version of orange Biscuits (forum stomper x orange diesel)

A small background
Originally released as an illuminauto, i have had a single illuminautos version seed of orange Biscuits stashed away for years because of just how important this strain has seemed to me. This strain is one of only 5 strains i have not grown in the last 5 years of growing due to only having a single seed (other four being forgotten cookies, jammy dodgers, Purple Nuggets and a local heirloom)

The Set Up
Light: (Big Tent - Mars Hydro SP-250) (Small Tent - Mars Hydro sP-150
Grow Space: 48*24*60inch (big tent), 27*27*72inch tent(small tent)
Container: 5 gallon dwc
Seeds: mephisto orange Biscuits (brand new testers end of 2020/beginning of 2021
Nutrients: General HydroponicsMaxitwo step ( MaxiGroMaxiBloom) Xtreme gardeningmykos wp xtremegardeningazos
Fungicide: southern ag. Biofungicide

In a bit I will be getting the 2 res' ready for tomorrow so the solution can aerate and mix throughout, if anyone wants pictures of the process of how I set up a dwc set up i will gladly take step by step pics and buy a new deck set up so please take @MissUniverse if you wish me to do that

The Process
Mykos wp will be added to the res at 3 tbsp in 5 gallons. Azos wp will be added to the res at 2 tbsp. Calmag will be added to the res at 25ml. That will be mixed together.
15ml southern ag biofungicide will also be added to the res for protection.
7tsp of Maxigro will then be added to 250ml of water and the granular feed will then become a liquid solution. The liquid maxigro will then slowly be mixed in to the final solution. Then the solution will be adjusted to a ph which settles to about 5.9 per my ph pen.

I will plant 2 seeds in individual grow buckets in their own rapid rooter they arrive.

Seed #1 planted
Here we are with the first seed in the rapid rooter
First the seeds...

Plop it in the rooter

Set the dome and seed #1 is ready to go!

Seed #2 planted
Orange Biscuts seed #2 was placed into a Dwc set up using the same method as above but using a lowes bucket as opposed to a modified stock dwc bucket (aka hole at the top, the line fished from the too down to the bottom for the air disk.

In the rooter

Simply placed a water bottle cut in half over the rooter in the hydroton (clay pebbles)

And here's all 3 buckets. The 3rd will host another plant. I have not decided what yet, i may take it out and wait for the 2 orange Biscuits to finish with one in each tent depending on just how large they get. I have another set of testers to try out after this round of orange Biscuits.

Does anyone have any firsthand experience with Orange Biscuits Illuminautos version that they can provide me some info like what kind of smell or smoke I'm in for? I am excited for it but want to know if I'm going to be needing to run carbon filters out of courtesy (i don't *need* to worry about them where I live now but I'd rather be nice to my neighbors and not have it smell a mile down the road). Does anyone have pictures of Orange Biscuits in coco or possibly even hydro. Even soil is cool. I haven't seen many and any experience would be nice. And what have you yielded off of it? No worries on having a low or high yield, it gives me a realistic goal in mind when i know if I should expect a bush or a tree, if i should snap the necks or let them grow tall.
Thanks everyone, enjoy and comment away with anything you see!

What pumps do you run? I'll be keeping an eye here :pass: :smokeout:
I use a "Top Fin" brand Aquarium Pump for 170 gallon tanks. I have a 4 way gang valve that i use to down convert the pump from 4 ports to 1 and pump the air to the air stone and start with the air turned all the way down and increase the air output starting at day 14 and continue through about day 18-20. I actually used that same pump to grow a 410 gram auto ultimate i harvested in late September which would have been bigger but i cut off all the under branches and bud because I was fearful of seeing some light moulding on those lower buds so i also pulled the auto ultimate 10 days earlier than i wanted to. Also my hubby grew a 262 gram plant in DWC on his first try using the exact same set up and same regmine i used and am using for this round as well, so it appears that the sweet spot seems to be full blast once the roots are going. I replace the air disk every few weeks. It's pretty quiet too for the air it moves

Sweet, sounds like you have your setup dialled in :pass: I've been using these little aquarium pumps, Rosewood Nano's, completely silent and great air flow. Just wanted to pop the recommendation out there :smokeout:

For you or anyone else:
I'm more than happy on the next round to make one (1) whole new DWC bucket set up on my next round of testers (once these are done) so i can show everyone exactly what to do. I'll also gladly post the pics and step by step.

I spent years working on this (still unfinished) method and I want to see others get more g/watt to decrease their carbon footprint and decrease the amount of soil waste that goes on each year because of cannabis growing, plus more bang for their buck and greater g/m2 only needing to watch ph, a basic 2 part nutrient which turns to just the one part in later stages (and calmag supplement throughout) and not worrying about ppm is amazing

It's as simple as going to the pet store and Lowe's or home depot for a 5 gallon bucket as well as buying a single netpot and hydroton on amazon, but I'd suggest buying 2 or 3 net pots because dwc is addictive once you realize the potential and the cost savings, and some biofungicide for your res. The rest you can just use nutes you already have already
