Just curious for those that have grown multiple strains, what have been the best structured plants you've grown with little to no training? I suppose 1 topping would be fine, bit i want to get my buddy's feet wet with a nice spaced out plant. I got most of what was for sale last year(artisanal, Limited, Illuminato and base catalog). Guessing a start would be FE, SODK, NCH, HBBH, Fugue, possiblybly Walter, CdlC, Ghost Toof, Forgotten Cookies, Creme Tasmo, Chemdogging. I wish i had Cosmo Queen -_- not necessarily looking for highest yeilding but something that grows wide and open letting light really get inside it. Thanks for the opinions.

If your buddy has no preference to type of high, smells, taste, I would recommend Forgotten Cookies. It is a very easy plant to grow, and has an open structure without much extra leaf, allowing good light penetration. It is Sativa dominant, a happy, peppy feeling and seed to weed in about 80 days.

I'll take that as a vote. Im looking for something we don't have to train or he won't need to kill himself looking for mould or bugs with super packed together branches. Myslef i like Sativas anyways so I'll keep this in mind.

Sour crack is fast, small, easy and very satisfying when you're done. Used this to get my friend started. He loves to grow now, grows sour crack like he's a crack head now. His only issue was how small she is he does others too. But keeps a small 2x2 with nothing but SC lol. For me I wanted my friend to have successfully grown and be satisfied fully with end product his first grow keep him motivated. So walking before running with a bigger girl was my method . His other tent is full of sativa. Dude thinks hes fuckin johnny apple seed always planting something else.

Depends on what he wants to grow and the space allowed. If running only 1 plant and you have the space. Fugue State needs little training, if you have space. Mine was tall and Open. Quality is top notch and the bud to leaf ratio is excellent. You could slightly open it up to get a little more light, but no need to LST. Good luck, slow

Yeah, he's plenty smart enough to grow anything and not sure it'll matter between types. I considered Fugue as well since i got that plus the Indica pheno freebies.

Ghost Toof is pretty open structure and easy. It would be worth it to stake down and out the branches and leaf tuck, but that is very easy and is something you can teach him in minutes. That is a skill that everyone should learn sooner better than later.
cheers

Keeping her in mind. Myself I've been wanting to get a FE in my tent anyways so she could be good for him and i XD
