DIY Electrics into grow room

Looking for best ideas for getting cables into the room? Lofts unisulated , ive built a room which consists of thermal roll ,plywood , 50mm celotex , 150mm earth wool then thermal roll over theback of that
Would cable be ok to run straight through this? Or would i need to use conduit and if i do use conduit how would i go about insulating as ive heard polystyrene/foam doesnt react well with cable

As long as nothing is getting hot, I wouldn't see why you couldn't run it through. But conduit would provide some protection. I would personally give it all the protection I could, just in case.

Romex cannot and should not be ran inside conduit. If you use romex rated for direct burial, you should not have any problems with chemical reactions or the sorts
