New Grower first ever grow NYC Diesil x Lowrider

Right folks iv just put one NYC Deasil x Lowrider and I'm going to start germinating another seed yet to be bought going to do that in 4 days iv got a 15W dual spectrum LED atm and another 125W cfl comin tomorrow. I'm using a closet 2ft deep 3.5ft long and 5ft high lined with slightly reflective white paper. I'm going to suspend my LED on a pulley and fix my CFL at about 3ft to begin with then raise as appropriate. Using a home compost, light gravel and potting compost. Going to water with straight rain water to start. And try add nutes about weed 3/4 I'm just looking for a smoke something to be proud of. All input is welcome and appreciated. Oh and I'm going to switch to a 250W blue spectrum cfl at about 1-2wks into flowering. Also how can I post photos of my progress?

3 ft is too far from your plants, you can keep the cfl bulbs much closer, around 6-8" is good, and for flower I recommend getting a 2700k bulb not a daylight spectrum bulb like you say

yea man, any blue spectrum lite is for veg...red/yellow is bloom.

Aye thot I said that aswell sorry I'm going to be getting a 250W red spec CFl on Sunday aswell keep one fitting n just switch bulbs seeing as I don't need both at once. How do I put photos up as I'm quite proud of my DIY closet area

Yeah ment 250 red cfl to flower and the 125 to veg

You can make an album for pictures by going to your profile, it's on the bottom left, or using the advanced reply on the post, there's a little icon you click, I can't remember which it was, I'm using my phone at the moment.. Just hover over them, I believe it says something about an attachment

Sounds good boss....The cfl's do well for veg and if enough are used can supply a pretty good yield....In my honest opinion though... you will never achieve the bulk and density you would using a nice led or hps system..... I would recommend if you can swing it getting a 240 w led... or 250w hps... they will do a great job for a couple of autos... and I think you you would be much happier with end results..also if you do not have a decent ph pen get one... and you will want some fans to move around air adding to stem strength etc...some sort of something for odor control carbon filter,, ona gel... and just throwing this out there.... zip ties lol..... they just always seem to come in handy... hanging things... using em for Low stress training or whatever the case... i find its nice to have em around.... any way best of luck and this is just my take it easy dude!

I own a 240w Blackstar LED, I can say it's a very nice light, good for a 2x2'-2x3' space, but it's around $300

Another option would be T5 fluorescent, I've seen good grows under them as well
