New Grower First Grow Plan for White and Red dwarf and either Deimos or Syrup

Good news,
i got an in line exhaust fan and and a bunch of the activated charcoal filters (the filters are the most expensive items at 18.00). I found a couple of good DIY Charcoal filter setups.( DIY: Carbon Air Filter - CHEAP, and EFFECTIVE! ), ( Easy to Build DIY Carbon Filter ).

The exhaust fan is a 50 cfm and was like 13.00 at home depot.

I also got that insulate that has the Mylar outside for 6.00 a sheet.

I also (starting to sound redundant) picked up one of those Mylar blankets under 5.00 (target and bass pro has them) that i can tack up in the non filled in spaces. That shit looks kinda flammable though (i expect a humorous re-tort from someone if it is).

Still short some cfls and a good reflector. I tailed it up with my girlfriend (she' not quite as happy as a i am) with seeds i am at almost 200 which isn't horrible, but is more than i anticipated. Just a note to people who are following this i have court tomorrow at 9.00 am. So if i go AWOL for a bit, you can guess it went bad. DON'T DRINK AND DRIVE EVER, not only do you feel horrible but then you get the long D!@& of the law as well. But i will check this ASAP on my return. So hopefully the thread doesn't die.

The mylar blanket would work on a budget, but it's not a preferred reflective source. Check out this thread on AFN here: Mylar blankets

Scroll down to find the post by a senior AFN member by the name of toke. Here's specifically what I'm looking at:

baged this from someplace else it was posted by Mutt a long time ago great info though.
(props to Mutt :peace: )
Emergency Blankets:These are ultra thin polyester blankets that are sold in most camping stores and are constructed of a single layer of polyester film that is covered with a layer of vapor deposited aluminum. It is not very effective at reflecting light because it is so thin. Holding it between you and a light source, many small holes are noticed at the intersections of creases and the entire blanket is translucent to begin with, this coupled with the many creases that are in it when you purchase it takes away a significant amount of it reflectivity. It is very easily creased as well which also detracts from its ability to reflect light. And while it is reflects nearly 90% of radiant heat energy, it is only able to reflect around 70% of the light. The largest advantage of using this type of material is that it is very cheap and therefore easily replaced. Emergency blankets can create hotspots if not attached flush to the wall so it is important that no air gaps exist between it and your supporting wall. The easiest way to attach this is to use tape (Aluminum or metal tape is recommended), as it tears very easily once it is cut or punctured.

So you see; cost effective has draw backs sometimes. You'll have to decide for yourself if it's worth it or not.

Best of luck with your situation; some karma your way :karma Cloud:

Caught up, Good job on prepping, looking forward to your grow...:karma Cloud:

:peace:

Thanks again guys, My lawyer just got the thing moved till later.

Vapor, Ty for the info i am going to return the mylar blanket and just buy another sheet of the insulate. Which is what i should of done anyway. Saving a buck is clouding my better judgment. Seeds just left Jacksonville, fl so i am the next stop geographically.

Thanks for the reply Mustard

Ghost to hear panic so when you get the beans you will be ready to start? I hope so for you! I am ready to watch!

I hope so, I can't start until i have a legit 3 months ahead of me. It would irritate me forever if i short changed/cut any of this process. How is your stuff coming along (please shoot your URL for your thread... I got overwhelmed subscribing to threads. My phone goes off like every 8 seconds)

Ignore half of this AF.net didn't update thread before i shot the other reply

RP which is your Main Thread I found a couple? I can't legitimately start until i know i have 3 straight months in sight. Short cutting/changing this would irritate me. My girlfriend said " how is this, that difficult so many dumb people grow it..." I replied i have yet to find a dumb person at this caliber of growing canibus. which is really true its not " put seed in soil ---> Harvest Pounds"
