I'll be doing single plant grows from here on out. Not just because of the smell but because I don't need so much. I only wanted 2 this time but made a stoner mistake. Any way...I think it smells like weed, don't know if others do..wife definitely does. I think the smell is mainly from the short rider it's a bit skunky. I'm not super worried. Might need the big ono bucket with the fan. I'll wait and see what happens with the carbon pad I ordered. Might also look into making me own activated carbon filter pad from screen material and duct tape. If FEESH lived closer by I'd have him MacGyver it for me! Lmao.

Lol Chester... I read about that ona bucket with fan. I just ordered a fan and have bucket. Read about the diy ona gel bucket...Getting ready to give that a try too! It won't be right at the cab...a few feet away more toward the window exhaust. I've been smoking such crappy weed you wish the flavor was sucked out!

Blue mystic up close and personal -- new $8.00 phone cam Day 56

Well the Blue Mystics are really starting to look tasty to me! Got my first trichome pictures with an $8.00 cell phone "microscope"...not too bad for the price. Leaves are starting to yellow on the plants some trichs looking clouding, maybe even a few amber! What I'm looking for out of a smoke is a bit of body stone, bit of cerebral. Don't want it to put me to sleep at all. So I'm thinking about 20% amber will be the right time to harvest for me...Anyway, I think the leaves will tell me like everyone says. BUT, I may go just a little early on one and a little later on the other to see what I like best since this is my first grow. How long you guys think? Can she possibly be ready in 3 weeks? The short rider is a week younger and not even close to where these girls are. However yellowing leaves hit her too in first couple of weeks of flower. After reading around, I think my problem with the leaves is the pot size and the girls are root bound as hell. I have 20+ inch plants in 1gallon pots! I have checked ph, given cal mag, some nitrogen supplements...just not enough soil left to hold any nutes! So the sooner the better for my friends. Thanks for stopping by! Blue mystic Day 58, Short Rider Day 51

Wanted to do an update with pics of the entire plant. The buds look great to me, the plant itself...not so great. The leaves are yellowing and more than I counted have either been removed or fallen off. I don't know if this is normal behavior at this point in a grow or I've just go an issue. I did take a tiny popcorn nug and dried a couple of days... a little 1 hitter and did enjoy it. Not major stone, but I liked the way it felt, so I'm cool with harvest at any point. I know there can be greater yield and greater potency with longer waits and I will wait as long as I possibly can. I don't think the plant can go more than another few weeks, but time will tell. At least I know whatever happens, I have something smokable and better than this brick weed shit I've had since I started this grow. Here are some pics. Please do chime in if you have any thought about how these became so unhealthy looking. PH is good, high quality nutes...Soil had fungus gnats so gets an X. Lights might not be optimum, but the buds look pretty darn good for a CFL grow to me. So its go me puzzled. Next grow will be one plant in a 3 gal airpot. Hoping pot size and plenty of space will be the key. In addition I now have Roots organic full line and will feed from the beggining using the master schedule. So here are the new pics! Enjoy. (last 2 are the short rider, it is a week behind the others and a little slower maturing it seems)

I think much of your success in this grow can be attributed to the soil ... looks like you're gonna get to harvest before you leave .... figure on harvesting at least 2 weeks before leaving and decide when to start the cleanse ... Looks like a great harvest awaits you ... sometimes plants finish on time ...

She looks great to me spiker, just finishing up nice and early, the buds looks like they have alot of resin and will only get fatter. Also most of the yellowing leaves are near the bottom and the plant is using up the resources within them.

I grew in 1 gallon not long ago and they finished up nice and early day 64 and 67 in fabric pots, possibly like you said they are just root bound and stressed

Thanks Chester and Gilly! I may start flush in about a week and a half for the BM. I don't think the short rider is close enough yet. I will push to the very last minute. My trip can still change because I still haven't finished all the work requested yet and am a bit behind.
