Alright so it's ginger again back here. To those that know I got rid off my stunted handicapped babies. And did 2 more. They look better starting off way better than other two but now I am having more problems... I can't seem to even get past the first set of leaves without fucking them up somehow.... I have adjusted ph to 5.5 -5.6 and washed em out once they looked abit better but still seem sad...... One looks burnt and one looks tired lol. Tell me what you think... I'm keeping temps and humidity down as much as possible and highered my led light to a like 25-28 inches cause to me they looked burned. Please help. Thank you people ....

What kind of soil are you using? That could be nutrient burn if your soil contains high amounts of amendments or has slow release nutrients. Also, your pH is way off. In soil you should be in the 6.3 - 6.5 range. That could also be the issue.

I am running it in a coco mix. It's called gs-3 from America the guy in shop was talkin like he grew his life in it so I trusted it....... So I'm right to be giving the 5.5 ph water? I mean should I try and raise the ph a bit?

ive already used all my auto seeds I hope these stick in there... They seem a lot happier right now.
I keeping temps at 27-28 and humidity at around 55 constantly . Just straight ph water . Maybe my ph meter is giving me wrong numbers? Damn man lol!

thankyou

I guess I should jus go buy some type of water from shops to use instead of 24hr tap water???? There's me thinkin I had my ph on lock :(

I'm not a coco grower but I do know that a pH of 5.5 is a bit too low. Growing in coco is more akin to growing in hydro. Shoot for about 5.8. If you look at this chart you can see that at 5.5 you are right on the edge where nitrogen can be locked out. Also, you need to give them some mild nutrients. Plain water has little nutrients. I would suggest 1/8 strength, slowing increasing it as the plant grows.

People seem to have a lot more success in soil it's a shame that I've spent all the money I have on canna nutrients I had faith in the canna gang... But thn I am learning and learning. When you say plain water do you mean straight tap water?
And damn I really do see 5.5 is toooooo low. From what people are telling me I'm just gonna raise it up abit.
Is it too late to revive them??

Thankyou so much

By plain water, I mean water with no nutrients. Tap water should be fine as long you let it sit for at least 24 hours. Adding an air stone and bubbling it will also help dissipate any chlorine and will oxygenate the water, getting more oxygen to the roots. I think if you raise your pH and give it a mild feeding it will recover fine.

Ok so I have checked my ph water that I made yesterday for them. So imagine I tried to ph my water to 5.5 like I told you. Well I just checked the water and the reason why they look a hundred times better today is because the water I made was actually at 5.8-5.9 lol!!
i tested through my shit yellow ph pen and tested in a vial tube.
I got good karma without realising from somewhere lol. If I had gave them 5.5 with the amount of water I gave them they would look so much sadder right now.
Thankyou once again. You reminding me that it should be abit higher might have saved my life.

ps. When you say feeding I thought it was too early? I have canna a+b and pk13/14 for the end. Sorry for probably asking dumb question... So I should start using canna a and b?
Will upload another pic later it look like the one took some mini steroids over night

LOL, sometimes we just get lucky. That's just the right pH for coco. Just know that once you start adding nutrients the pH will drop, so you'll likely need some pH Up to raise it back up to the correct level.

Growing in coco is considered growing soil less and is more like growing in hydro. It's very much like the way I grow, using just sphagnum peat moss, perlite and lime. Coco by itself contains no nutrients, so it's up to you to supply everything the plant needs. So you need to give them a very mild nutrient solution right from the beginning. I generally start out with 1/8 the recommended dose, increasing it to 1/4 when the plants are about 3 weeks old, then up to 1/2 strength by around week 5. Exactly when to increase depends on how well the plants are taking the nutrients. Feed them grow/veg nutrients until vertical growth stops, usually around week 5 - 6, then make the switch to flowering nutes.
