I live in Calgary Canada, and recently bought two strains from mephisto.

Shout out to the guys at mephisto genetics. I paid for two seeds and wound up with 6. The first two I tried germinated successfully. It took days to get my order also. Love those guys.

I also found a seed in the weed I ordered and germinated it for fun. The mystery seed had been sprouted for 3 days now and is sitting at 1.7"
I don't know what strain it might be since I found seeds in 5 different orders. My first question for the forum would be if you know and tricks for sexing plants. I want to remove it if it's male. The tall seedling is the mystery strain.

The next seed I noticed poking her head up was the chemdoggin strain. That's the short stubby seedling that looks lighter. Today is April 26th/2020 and day 1 of real growth.
Question 2 would be about topping an autoflower. Is it safe and how to do it right.

The northern cheese has at least one more day to grow out of the soil.

I didn't want to half ass anything so I got myself a good tent and every accessory down to a digital ph meter. It's my first grow and it's going normal so far.

I also want to say thanks to everyone on this site. I developed my entire grow theory using the knowledge I found here. I look forward to growing with y'all.

No problem fellow grower, thats what this forum is here for! I’m still an auto newbie... i get by with a little help from my friends, i get high with a little help from my friends! Lol. But seriously, this is the best site in my opinion to ask questions and learn

I can always learn something from anyone and that makes you more of an expert than me, still my first grow. These girls grow quick!

Just finished my first auto grow. Asked alot of questions, got good info and learned alot! Exotic seeds russian automatic i stunted the crap out of and she only yielded 7 g but it packs a punch! On my second indoor now with 2 strawberry cheesecake autos and a nl auto and just started three photoperiods for outdoors. Check my threads for pics

Man I hope you keep posting. How did you stunt the growth? Sounds disappointing, but still a success!

Soil was too “heavy” not light soil which i use now and started seeds in jiffy peat pellets with the netting around them. I still use the hydrated peat pellets but i remove the netting and start in 3 oz shot cups

Do you soak the seeds before planting in the jiffy pellets?
Thanks,
Susan

Oh okay. I don't use jiffy pellets, I don't think I have before for anything actually. Do you find they work well? Also, what's your opinion about coconut coir
