Hey people, I started my very first grow 10 days ago. I've converted my built in wardrobe (3 meter height, 1/2 meter width and 2.5 meters depth). I'm growing 2 Amnesia Haze Auto's under a 2x24 watt t5 and all seems well, I'm looking for a few answers to help me on my growing path :)

Can changing the bulbs in my t5 to a red spectrum be worth doing for flowering or am I better off just getting a HPS?

As auto flowers don't need nutes until about halfway is there any point in using or even buying veg nutes?

How much does transplanting stunt the growth of the plant?

Cheers peeps :)

Changing bulbs to red should not be done until they go into full flower mode.If you want a nice heathy plant you should give them veg nutes before half way.You could star with veg nutes now but only a 1/4 strength for a week than go 1/2 strength for the rest of the way.Yes I believe transplanting slow there growth down so I can't recommend it.What size is your t-5?

Hey man another closet grower, i like it. Im not sure about your lighting i use 250w CFLs and the likes no experience with anything else but veg notes i usually start around week 3 i mean if your going to flower them as soon as they show their sex then there's not much point, only problemis youl miss out on a lot of height and in the end yield. I usually make the switch around week 7 to flowering so they have time to grow big and bushy and i think in the end yield more. You can hold off on flowering and not feed nutrients but for the price you can pick up veg notes for I'd say its worthwhile bio-bizz do a try pack for around £10 dunno in dollars but that has veg, flower and top max bud stimulants. I'd recommend buying something at least but im sure somebody slightly more experienced will swing by. But they probes tell you the same. Good luck and good weed.

Thanks Namvet, great advice on the nutes and changing of bulbs, will help greatly on my path, it's 2 1/2-3 feet in length and about 1 foot wide

Cheers Dr Rob, glad you like it :) has to be done. Thanks for the light tip, I've been pondering whether it's good enough and it seems I have my answer. I will look into them nutes as I use £ ;) very helpful sight and very informative thanks for the help peeps. Keep it green

I recently got the try pack from 3 counties hydroponics should still be on sale

Just looked now and I think it's been taking down, but none the less I didn't even know this website existed and will be a great help in the learning of nutes, cheers Rob, Keep it green
