The genes are the stars, so here's the lineup:

Josies, an indica dominant. Love the name... reminds me of the old cartoon Josey and the Pussycats.
Cream Caramel Dragon, F1. I have very high hopes for this one. The missus is needing something a bit more potent these days, I believe this will fit the bill.
From the East (C'mon, it's Big Buddha!), Blue Cheese Auto, Fem. I hear it's stinky, but very good!
The usual setup, 4'X2' 8 bulb T5 (this time w/ a 400w HPS if needed) and CFL side lights. I'll stick with a 20/4 light cycle.
A new grow room, a little over 6'X9'.
WG's easy dirt mix, slightly tweaked for my high pH well water.
A mix of 2 gal and 5 gal smart pots; the CCD's will probably get the 5's.
I'm going for the tier method this time... if I can't find 44oz or bigger cups by tomorrow, it'll have to be 18oz.
I'll post some pics when the gals have finished their swim!

A side note: This grow apparently wanted a blood sacrifice.
We lost 5 chickens today to a single coyote.
Sir Cocks-A-Lot (our Rooster), Pecker Face, and 3 other gals are gone. :Sharing One:
So is the 'yote, but damn I'm getting slow blind and deaf!
I think this crop will do well. Life/Death, Ying/Yang, I take it as a good sign. :tiphat:

About a 23 hour soak for the seeds. I know the glass says F2, but it's an F1 strain.

In to soil, and the new room! I had to stick w/ 18oz cups for the tier, I hope I don't regret it...

Water is pHed and bubbling, I'll start brewing tea in the morning.

I really hope having this dedicated circuit helps out... I added a timer to one branch, so 3 outlets will be in sync with the timer, the wall outlets will stay on to run the humidifier, tea pump and fan.
Not the most polished wiring, but functional and safe. :thumbs:

I do still need to install the in-line fans, but my shoulder kinda crapped out on me...

Starting to see some heads popping up!
I really like that 24 hour soak so far.
I've done some final tweaks to the room (my tea jug should be a lot more user friendly, and water is now plumbed in to the room .

My poor fish... he hasn't gotten word that I'll be using mostly organics...

So far it's going well. With the new setup, I've actually hit over 50%RH for the first time ever. In the past, even with the humidifier, 28% was doing good, unless a storm was on us. Temps are so far easy to manage. No exhaust fan yet, but the passive venting is doing well.
I know by mid July the fan better be up and running.
I also gave my Redneck AC a test run.... still works well, so heat should be manageable.
I'll fire up the MH tomorrow to see how bad that stacks on the temps! And I still need to figure how I want to mount my CFL's.... this will likely be a 6 plant grow, so a new learning curve!

Two of the CCD's didn't germinate... that's a first for me, but then this is only my 3rd grow. Usually they at least have the courtesy to get tall enough to wave their balls in my face!

Some are a bit taller at this stage than I'd like, but they're all new strains to me, it may be their pattern.
I gave 'em all a drink (notice some leaves standing up), but as always, I ought to start being nicer to them. My curse is under-watering.
First traces of them breaking the soil was on the 8th, so we'll call 'em at day 6 past germ.

The spikes are to keep the rats from squirming out (we've seen 'em do it). 3 rat traps, 6 mouse traps, about a pound of poison. I'd have the 12 out there if my missus would let me.

I'm trying to look on the bright side, Brother, but yeah, we've got a lot of stuff that goes pop and bang.
I walked into the grow room and saw this, I swear it took a couple of minutes to process.
I thought "Oh, shit! temps too high? More water??! Did I fry them?!"
