Hello AFN
update on my Boiling summer grow room. I was not able to control temperature as the summer is getting hotter so I grow under 34C what else can I do no AC at the moment. Was not able to increase light either because of heat They are all under 100watts cfls total almost 600 watts dispersed cfls. Yet they are still growing....!!! not sure what the harvest will be thought Iam ready for your advice once more friends.

By the way I think I always make the wrong post at the wrong forum any advice anyone.

so Ak49 30 days from seed Afgan Kush Ryder day 30 Chemdog day 30 Skunk Day 60 5 gallon pot just begin to flower really delayed .

well growing weed is happiness itself yet I d like your opinion guys do you see harvest in any near future?
I already made a post in inside growing forum with more plants in there.

Thanks to all in advance.

"When temperatures rise above 78 degrees F (25.5 C), cannabis’ rate of growth slows as the plant uses part of its energy to dissipate heat and keep its water content constant. The rate of growth continues to slow as the temperature rises. Photosynthesis and growth stop somewhere in the 90’s."

So, your 34-35 c temps (+/- 93F) consistently will definitely cause big problems. These may just be super stunted because of that. Looks you'll need at least 30 days or more for Skunk and twice that for the others. Keep your eye on the game in front of you, not the end game. If you are already looking at harvest you are not focusing on the present. Take care of basics and the plants will mature and flower when they are ready. Unfortunately, your ongoing heat situation is likely not going to yield good results.

Ah Har , my friend I have had to deal with same problem when I first started - In the tropics - I am sorry to say but you will not get a good grow under those temps , trust me you are better off waiting till you can put a aircon in . Once I did that all was good , also if you are in the tropics a dehumidifier is a must , I can take over 10 ltr a day out of my room in the build up to the wet season . Now with both going and 2 x Marshydro 192 x3 lights the cost for me is $41.67 each plant to grow out , but with out them I would not be able to grow for at least 6 months of the year .

Thanks for taking time to look at my grow mate.
Well I cant do anything at the moment I just put ice everywhere in there and behind my fans but thats a lot of ice man Iam tired I need at least 20 litters of ice in there to make a change in temp. Iam really curious on how cannabis grow outside in my country where temp rises to 40 C ? Thanks again mate:pass:

Thanks mate for your time
Well I dont have humidity issue on the contrary its too much dry heat. thats a positive I hope. Well the ice idea is not practical but still brings some results its foolish but what else I have to leave them die. I just need to replace 20 or more litres Ice evry 3 hours. Iam crazy I know that. I use it the last 2 days and has lower temperature almost 3 C.

Thanks a lot mate :greenthumb:

Perhaps you should be growing Sativa strains only which are more suited to the warmer climates. They do have longer schedules of growth though and can get up to 8 feet tall.

well I did not know that!!!:thanks: Are there any auto Ones you suggest ? Actually Am more of a Sativa stone than an indica but with autos is not easy to find a good one especially for starters :pass:

The Haze family is generally very Sativa dominant. Do a little research online at the well known seed banks. You can search by strain and dominance as well as for feminized and auto flower versions of most seeds.

just rbought me a aircon - Airmax slimline 3000 btu. Is it best to use in a close loop system and why? Shall i keep my intake and outtake going?

No, closed loop is not good. You need to introduce fresh air and exhaust the air as well. Best to push the cool air into the grow space from the bottom, then have an exhaust fan pushing out somewhere towards the top of the grow space.
