I've been lurking here and elsewhere, reading as much as I can on growing pot. I'm pursuing two dreams; growing my legal 4 plants, and tasty herbs, tomatoes, and peppers. I wiill probably move some of that outdoors in the summer.

I'm trying to do this 100% organic, as I love fungus, and I love tinkering. I'm doing a live soil organic grow, with sort of an attempt to do my own imitation preta nova.

I used to garden with my mom when I was little in this manner, and those 2 foot thick flower beds are still productive 30 years later. So I'm going for that.

It's been a blast so far, as I didn't know plants could have such temperamental personalities. Piss the girls off, and they'll stink at you, or give them something they don't like and they'll tell you. Give them an ideal situation and they start dancing. It's amazing.

Welcome to afn an its awesome to see another person goin organic it's actually quite addicting this growin for me bein a farmer is everything .

Frankly, it's a blast growing something. I find I'm too disconnected from everything. Being able to work in my garden is relaxing, grounding, and hopefully rewarding.

With cannabis, it's pretty much a live action movie if you're patient enough, they're always doing something new. From my reading, you can just sea of green and monitor the overall environment, or go through and LST and back build every bud, there are as many methods that yield results as you could choose from, it sort of depends what you want and how much energy you want to put into it.

I'm sort of lucky in that I soaked up a lot of gardening with poor soils as a kid in a practical manner, and then I've just spent like 2 months reading everything I can on how how to do what I'm planning on doing (including here obvs.)

Oh and I may have grown fungus in the past haha. Fungus is amazing. I will serve the fungus, and the fungus will reward me. With 18 000 sexes or so, it doesn't take long for a colony to genetically differentiate. And then you just... Dump one back into the other. Maybe put a plant in the big bin to train em properly. Feed em with fungus crack, brown rice flour, if they can't get their carbs from the plants.

Glad to have you aboard and out of the shadows. It's always nice when gardening was something shared with a loved one! Definitely looking forward to learning from you! Thanks for sharing!
