I spoke with a couple of old codgers, and read some research by Thompson-Morgan, and earthing up potatoes in bags or pots isn't necessary, thankfully!

Here's ths spuds and onions on day 28 :

22 more days and it will be time to get the carrots and toms in there

The spuds looked like they were getting calmag def so i've upped the dosage.

Two more days and i plant the carrots and toms.
