Heat of the tropics .

Well guys here is a grow that is a bit of a test , by the way 2 nd out door grow , So what I wanted to do is see if I could do a late summer grow Lat - long 15 south 145 east or there about' .plants are 2 Afghan Kush and 6 Incredible Bulk , plants where in veg inside for 5 weeks [ I should have started flower inside first ] as when I put them outside they had a bit of a stretch before flowering . Ok log that for next time , at the moment they are towards the end of week 4 of flower and are showing a lot of crystal , one funny thing , I noticed some bumps on the base of the leaves coming off the heads :Brain Fog..:Oh no , what is that , I haven't seen this before , I will leave it and see what happens before I panic , :Haha: the bumps turned into crystals , anyway back to the grow , as the temps are very warm now I moved them out of full day sun to another spot that has some shade from a big ass tree at the hottest part of the day and they are still growing , not fast but at about 2 inch a week , now yield is not a issue for me and never is , If I can average 28 gr a plant I will be more than happy for this time of year , plus this is only my second grow which means I have to allow for mistakes , I have till the end of December before the big rains start , so photos . I have a issue of Canibus Culture from the nineties about a father son team who grew 2000 harvested lbs in one season in Australia you are in the land of vast area and the nimbin cup out in the middle of nowhere if I remember correctly. your plants are looking great by the way

Wow henco, your along way north ! I can see you pulling off 4 auto crops a year up there in that weather once you work out what strain grows best for you up there. I'm in Nthn NSW, i reckon I'll pull off 3 x auto crops a year with our weather. You'll get a winter crop I wont.

Winter what is that :roflcry: end of April would be the start to the end of November , rolling them over to give 210 days .

Warts and all .

Ok , , I had to move the girls back indoors , just way to hot for them [ Afghan Kush and Incredible Bulk ] I should have started at least a month earlier as the temps are hitting 30 to 32 celsius , the soil temps where higher again , now the one plant I left out which I had no choice as the pot is to big , but it seems to be going good , I put it down to a bigger root mass and soil temps not as high ? Might be wrong here but it is all I can think of . I have one bug issue as you will see in the photo , I have been hand squashing them , do you think neem oil would get rid of them ? Overall I am happy with the way things turned out as I have learn't a lot along the way , and again I thank you guys for the advice you have given freely on many issues . I think I am only 2 to 3 weeks away from harvest with the plants in the small pots . After they are done I will be using the room for a full Auto run as the wet season will be full on . I am looking forward to this grow as I feel a lot more confident this time around .

Nice looking plants Henco, bet Ozzy is great for growing outdoors, can you grow all year round ?
Do you cover the pots or soil from direct sun ? Or how about some shade maybe some garden netting

Yes it is maffo , as I live in the tropics and I am trying to work out how far I can take them before the wet season starts , also which strains work best , but as I am new to growing it is all trial and error , I know our winter is perfect for out door , and as I have a grow room as well I get stage the growth to the light hours outside , so I am thinking 4 to 5 grows , mind you that is all in the head at the moment . I will find out next year .
