Hi everyone. I'm not completely new here, I've been lurking for some time, but finally felt I was ready to speak up! I love this forum, as a new grower, I have spent countless hours reading online and various forums. This one is certainly the best I've found. Everyone seems so friendly and willing to help, which I believe is what makes a forum community work. I have been trying to grow since November, had numerous disasters, bad luck, stupid decisions and a big lack of yield!! However, I am learning, and have never tried my hand at any type of horticulture (I'm also growing my own herbs, peppers, tomatoes and vegetables) so this is all completely new to me!

I'm currently battling trying to keep a Sugar Mango Ryder alive! I've lost three plants already, Blue Himalaya, and almost killed a Snowryder. I also currently have 1 x Auto Assassin and 1 x White Widow. The White Widow is only a few days old, so, on the advice of some people here, I'm going to start a journal and see if I can get some help whilst maybe also helping others with answers to my problems.

I don't seem to be too good at all this right now but I'm pretty sure I'm not the only one!

Looking great. The sick plant looks to be over watered to me. That is one of the most popular mistakes new growers make. I my self almost killed a couple of my young plants by over watering. IMO I would try to let it dry out before feeding or watering anymore. Then once the soil is dry pick it up and get a feel for the weight of it. Add your water/feed until you see a bit (about 10% runoff) and pick it up again to check weight. I am not saying this if for sure your issue but it looks to me as if it is. Hope this help you bud. The youngins look well though. What are you using for soil/nutrients/equiptment if you don't mind me asking?

Thank you for the advice. It does look over-watered, it probably is. I've had 3 die on me. I water when the top inch or so is dry (or what I THINK is dry) and when the pot feels light enough, usually around 5-7 days.. Should it be powder dry? I absolutely do not mind any questions, here is a list of what I use:

300w dual spectrum CFL
4" inline fan+ carbon filter
2 pc fans for a light breeze and fresh air
Biobizz All Mix
Bio-Bloom
Bio-Grow
Rain Water
2 and 6 litre pots

Its crazy, my plants always look healthy until around 25-35 days, then start to go like the Mango is now. Droopy and super green on the bud sites. PH of my rainwater is just under 6.0. Maybe after 3/4 weeks, the PH of the soil needs adjusting? I flushed the Mango with 15litres of rainwater 2 days ago, checked the run off and it was a little high 6.8-7.0. So I added some PH down to the last liter of water I added and it came down to 6.2-6.4. On some good advice here, I'm going to purchase a soil PH meter and see if that may be a problem.

All I know is all my seeds start so well then all seem to develop some kind of problem around the same time in the cycle.

Checking to top soil is what I used to do but getting a feel for weight seems to be better because if there is higher temps the soil on top may be bone dry while 3-4 inches down is sobbing wet. As far as the dark green you may be able to just cut back the nitrogen a little when going into bloom, but your using organic mix so it really shouldn't cause to many issues. If your worried about PH issues just mix some dolomite lime into soil. For the ones already in final pots just sprinkle some fast acting/powder lime into top 1-2 inches of soil before watering...:Sharing One:

That's on the money ThinkDifferent. I'm going to leave it a good 7-10 days to dry out fully, see if that helps. Maybe over-watering is messing with the PH. I've seen a bunch of auto grows in Allmix online and they looked awesome. I know it's one or two things I'm just not getting right that is causing this. The other possibility of soil PH being out also needs looking at, so a soil PH tester is on its way.

Yeah after having a meter for ph and ppm I would never grow without one. Big help when issues arrive
