New Grower Help I'm still a noob!! DP 'Think Different' under LED... Hopefully.

You've done really well for a first grow Kush T Dog, I'm impressed :] Hydroponics is hard, growing with LED's makes it even harder!
I can tell it's really been a good learning experience, for both of us in this case. I just harvested my TD today, looking about 150g-220g harvest when it's dried.

I think your next grow will be a brilliant one and I look forward to both the smoke/strain report for this plant and the journal of your next one :buds:

Ill have to get a few pics of her up now that she is a healthier shade of green, she is really fattening up :dance2: ( actually fox tailing a little more than I'd like but anyhoo) I was just catching up on today's developments in your thread there before looking in here, ha ha that's a bumper harvest you got :drool: What was the weight I said!! Looks like I'll be pretty damn close

Thanks Tony... I'm sorry man I couldn't blow my girls up good 'n' proper for you .... But it seems there is some good genetics in those therr beans :booya: still got another TD bean left & I'm sure I can do better with it, 5 strawberry coughs as well... So I'll try & do those justice.

I'm wanting to get some pics taken of my lovely lady that is still on the nutes... Trouble us when I take them out in the garage, the... ahem... 'natural' light is from a crappy low energy saving bulb... Hence the shitty photos so far & to bring her into the house involves carrying her outside for a moment or two... Not advisable.. Nosey neighbours & such... Well maybe not but I'm not taking the chance of a neighbour looking out if their back bedroom window just as I'm dashing from the garage to my back door with a funny looking plant with swollen frosty nuggets all over it... in broad daylight anyway!!

So I suppose now is as good a time as any since it's the wee small hrs...

Ok these pics still arn't great... & I upload them through tapatalk so not really anywhere near full resolution.... She looks a little pale now I have her out of the LEDs but she is on plenty of feed 1.4ec/700ppm & her pH is ok 5.9-60 & she is definately piling on the bud now.

Some pics have the flash on.. Some off.. The pics with the flash on show the bud more... Reflecting off of her I suppose...

Right... Went a bit mad there...

I think I'll give her one more res of nutes for the week starting mon.. Then into flush for a week... Unless her trichs tell me otherwise... I want them to go at least 20-25% amber before flush.

Ok then AFN...

So I harvested one of my TD's this morn... She has been in a bit of a sorry state for quite a while now.. Hadn't really grown much over the last... 3-4 weeks.
I did pinch a small bud the other day & have sampled it this morn... It was still a bit too damp so didnt taste great through the launchbox but she has given me a rather heavy but nice stone... Which is surprising since she only had maybe 5-10% amber trichs...

So she weighed 70g untrimmed (although I had her nearly naked anyway coz her leaves we're f#cked up)

Then 64g after a light trim, I'll leave her now till she is properly dry..

So im gonna be looking at just over a half an oz dry.. Pretty shit really but better than a dead plant which is the way it could have gone if it weren't for my AFN chums..

Edit: the bud I took earlier to try was 4.55g wet as well so about 1.1g dry... So she was about 75g when harvested...

I think I'll be lucky to even get a half oz off this girl coz as her main stem was on the scales as well... So if I get a 1/2 O I'll be... Hmm as pleased as I can be I suppose..

Don't be down about it bud :] First time is always the hardest for everything. Now you've actually took a plant across the finish line though, you'll be much better off on grow #2 :]

Thanks again Billy... I'm hoping for about 2 zips of this girl that's still on the go in here.. She's looking heftier by the day
