Guys i'm just wondering if i should leave them till the 3rd (like planned) and then flush for a week or if i should just start flushing now? the are 61 days old and i would say 50% - 60% of the hairs are brown. I don't want them to degrade or anything

Also should i flush for a week? or start now and flush for 9 days?

Hmmm an electric blanket! would this work? i mean would it not dry the roots out and what happens when i water them and the water comes out of the bottom? i don't want to electrocute the girls :slaps: saying that i guess there is protection... or all old people would be BBQ'd!

Also i seems to be keeping the tent at between 70f - 80f and they seem to be fine with that but cheers for your suggestions i might put one in just to see if i can stabilize it more I will get some pictures tomorrow of under normal light

I put the electric blanket underneath my tent floor cover, saucer on top and then the pot, no electric shock possible as the bottom cover is water resistant.. If your temps are good just leave it like is, but if it gets colder you might want to look into it. There is different settings when I put mine on it's on the minimum setting so you dont cook the roots..

Looking good, defo easier to have a proper look. They still look very green are you still feeding them any N? I would say you still have a couple weeks to go mate... The buds will probably fill up a bit more for you! Do you have a way to check your trichromes?

Im not feeding them any N but i am feeding them 5ml of old timer bloom and 2ml of calmag to 2 liters of water everyday (they normally drink 4 liters a day between them). Sadly i don't have any way of checking the trich's but i might look into it in the future.

So far on my list for my next grow...

6 x Airpots (10L)
6 x Mix Mephisto seeds
1 x Electric blanket
1 x Understanding of what ppm thingy's are (lol).
1 x A proper light hanger thing so i can get the distance of the light right.

I guess i will stick to starting to flush on sat for 1 week and chopping on the 10th!

Soooo iv been thinking (dangerous i know) do i need to flush if i have just been feeding them Oldtimer (grow/bloom) and Calmag ? I know the old timer is organic... and the soil im growing in (plant magic supreme) has a mix of nutes in it soooo... Do i need to flush or not??

Most tent drip trays I've seen (the fabric ones that insert into the bottom of the tents) are NOT spill proof brother. Anything that has stitched seams is likely to seep. I made the mistake with some overflow one time thinking it would sit in the fabric spill tray, until I saw the evidence of seepage through the seams.

Just my opinion, but I would be very leery of sticking something electrical (especially not made for that application) underneath something that you KNOW is going to be wet and has the chance of spilling over.

On two out the six are showing signs of either note burn or light burn. I did go 20 over my ppm of 400. My ppm battery needed changing. it was over by 20 for six hours before I realised. I then changed rez for a fresh one and dropped the ppm to 380 ph 5.6

Your ppms can vary by quite a lot without affecting your plant. depending how old they are. when I mix my nutes, I say close enough if it hits within 75 ppm either way. Maybe 50 ppms when running at an average of 400 ppm. I'd say 400 ppms for plants that young is too much. the first 2 weeks 200-300 is plenty.

Your light needs to be 24-30" above plants that young, they just don't need that much light. When you crank it up to full power, you may need to go a bit higher. They can tolerate a lot more light in flower and you can get as close as maybe 16"

Just a bit of advice, those plants are no where near done. The hairs that you are talking about are the pistols and they sould all be dead when you harvest, when people talk about seeing different colors: Clear, Cloudy and Amber they are talking about the crystals or Trichromes not the Pistols. It is a very common mistake. From the looks of it those plants have about 3 or 4 weeks left. Almost all strains gain most of their wieght in the last 2 weeks of their life, i have seen some strains almost double in size in the last two weeks or so. So by harvesting them now you will probably cut your potential yeild in half. In my opinion I would defintly wait. I would also read Muddys thread the lifecycle of the autoflowering cannabis plants. It tells you when to harvest based on the fan leaves colors not just the trichromes color. If you want to see the crystals get a jewlers loup or a handheld microscope so you can see the heads of the crystals. I hope this is of some use.

ive grown thinkdifferent in dwc a few times with amazeing results and ive always started them on ppm 400. on my last grow I run 1 600 wat hps and 1 300 wat led. this time im using only led. and out of the sixb only 2 are showing signs of burn. so I will put them under a 300 wat led and drop the ppm to 300 and il see how that goes. I will also crack a coupel more seeds just in case. check out my new thread in hydro. thanks for you help peace out and happy new year.
