New Grower Here we go again!!!!

No I made a 6 inch pocket with my seed starter mix. Then I planted my beans about 1/2 inch deep because I know the ocean forest soil is to hot for seedlings. But did I screw up when I mixed a little lime in my seed starter mix???????

It'll prolly be fine. Using the 6 inch plug of starter mix is good. You will most likely need to add lime to the FFOF as well but can put it in the top of the soil. You can visit this thread for more info:

Ok thanks nomis. I have already put lime in the ffof soil when I mixed it. I used 1Tbs per gallon of soil. Do you think I will need more? I will post some pictures in the morning. They all look good so far!!!!!!!!!!!!

Sorry it's taking so long to give a up date. My girls are on Day 22 now. They all look good so far. I did have a slight problem with the Polar Light. On day five I came home and she was laid over. Probably because I had the light to far away. The good news is that you can't really tell anything happened. She is a little crooked but she is the tallest of the four. So far I have only feed them once at a 1/4 strength of FF Grow Big and Big Bloom. I'm running my 600w HPS at 50% because of heat issues at 18/6. Ph going in is 6.3-6.6 and coming out is 6.2. So not to bad!!!
