Introduction threads aren't really my style, but this forum has been such a help, I'm down to join in all the fun!
Seriously, I'm in my first grow (I think I'm getting close to harvest on a pair!), and this site has saved me all around.
In the last few weeks, I've learned so many things, and some of you have helped keep this first grow alive, despite my best attempts to overwater, overfeed, and just plain stress them physically.
I've learned about DIY COBs, to which I've just upgraded after my cheap blurples started to fail. Thanks BigSm0!
I've learned a bit about nutrient schedules in hydro/dwc grows because I was obviously going to follow the manufacturer schedule printed on the bottle, right? Whoops.
I've learned a few methods to combat pythium/root rot. A month ago, all the roots in this grow were pretty brown, and not very healthy looking. They're now growing new white shoots constantly, and the plants are drinking lots of water.
I'm currently reading up about common plant issues, and how to prepare for harvest.

Welcome to AFN! Sounds a lot like my start! I got soo much help from soo many good growers/people here! It's literally as simple as asking questions! Im sure you've found your way around a bit, but if you have questions or need help navigating, just tag me!
