Biotabs is really easy to use and stress free growing. You can put all the stuff in the soil and just water, plain water, or add some Orgatrex and PK Booster for hungry plants (which I would recommend, because I always like to push to the max).

Another great organic nutrient is B.A.C, which is personally use in combination with Biotabs (and with great results), you use the dry nutrient line of Biotabs, with the startrex, silicium flash, the mycotrex and the biotabs (tabs) itself and use the BAC Organic Grow/Bloom and PkBooster to feed them several times per week/when needed.

You could also use strictly BAC Organic, without the biotabs, but in my opinion the combination of the two in a Lightmix/Coco mixed soil works out great.

Another good nutrient line is Terra Aqautica from GHE (used to be called General Organics) really top material and can be used in many different growing methods/setups, like Autopots too.

And last but not least, the organic or preferably Vegan line from Bio-Nova called Veganics, man had the

Another thing I came across a few days ago is a dry part line from GHE/Terra Aquatica called : https://www.terraaquatica.com/organic-fertiliser/organic-drypart/

Haven't tried it myself yet, but will surely do it in the near future.

Should you have any questions regarding one of these lines, or what to use, just hit me up!

Quite a few there m8.. thanks for taking the tkme to share your knowledge.. I'll be sure to have a look at them all to see what's what.. I like the sound of the big girl feed as I think thats how im gonna go for a while.. 1 big girl at a time..

I've no doubt I'll be back with some questions in the near future

Thanks again m8 :pighug: :worship:

@Antonio_DutchPassion Can I ask you about the biotabs m8? Just watering plain water sounds like heaven but I wonder about a new seedling in a big pot of soil, say 35/40L and how i would water it in.. youtube vids show the mixing process for the additives.. all looks pretty straightforward.. and planting the tabs themselves.. but the guy is transplanting a much more mature plant than a seedling.. into maybe a 12/15L pot at a guess.. so he sticks the plant in his planting hole and fires in maybe 1L to 1.5L of water.. all fine.. how would one translate that to a tiny seedling in 35/40L of soil?

I assume the watering in activates the tabs and additives so I wonder how much I would have to give my seedling to get that activation.. if thats makes sense.. given that I wouldn't want to drown her early on.. id usually only give a seedling around 250ml per watering working up of course pretty quickly as she grows.. the question I suppose is would that activate the actual biotabs? Or maybe its the case that the additives would sustain the seedling until im watering enough to activate the biotabs?

Based on the video I watched id be planting 4/5 biotabs in that much soil and putting them somewhere between the seedling and pot edge.. like about half way? If thats the case then the actual biotabs might not get a good soak until im watering a volume enough to get out that far from my plant and down far enough into the soil to reach the tabs.. which could be 14 days at a rough guess.

Hope all that makes sense m8! Any info/guidance you can provide is much appreciated.

@Antonio_DutchPassion first question.. quick and easy one lol. I assume your using organic soil or coco with your organic feed?
Yes, organic/natural Lightmix soil often mixed with Coco, its my personal favorit mix, ratio 3:1 or so, so 25% coco, mixed in layer and at the bottom/top

Same thing mate, just place some mycotrex under the seedling where you have dug the hole so the roots touch the mycorhizza immediately. For the rest mix the Startrex/Sicilium Flash well into the soil, and make sure to do the first water with Bactrex.

Both the ammendments and the small nutrient value in the lightmix is enough to carry them the first days, before they reach the biotabs with every watering. And if you're not sure, like I said before, try using the Orgatrex with every other watering, or use the BAC Bio Grow/Bloom/PK to give them more nutrients when needed.

In a big pot with a small seedling, especially at the time of transplanting I would water most of the 1-2L water on the sides, and indeed watering about 250ml around the seedling somewhere, maybe even 100-150ml directly at the plant, depending on the size and wetness of the soil/climate in the room

Ya man, makes sense and logical questions imo. See above ;-)

I would make a 5, like a dice, one tab under the plant, about 15cm and 4 of them divided in a square about in the middle between the plant and the edge of the pot.
We all love a big girl 👧

So having had my trusty Skyline 400 for about 10 years and figuring that her best hours were probably behind her.. I bought a Mars FC-3000.. the one with the Samsung diodes.. 300W.. 4 bars of light.

As soon as I stuck it in the temp in the tent went up to 30c.. and higher.. high 20s at best. It ran around 23/24c with the Skyline in.. usually 50/60% RH. With the temp increase of course came a drop in RH.. the 2 figures getting further away from each other.

I noticed when I moved my grape crinkle from under the 50W spotlight to the 300w mars light that within a few days I had brown spotting on the leaves.. calcium issues.. the plant was about 25 days old and lovely lush green with not a mark on a leaf when I put it under the 300W light.

That was when I started to look for answers. What did I find. VPD!!

Id read about VPD before but never paid much attention as my plants looked healthy and grew fine so the importance of it hadnt really landed with me until I witnessed what happens to a plant when VPD gets way out of range.. the Grape Crinkle was wilting.. felt papery.. leaves curling.. generally unhappy. Of course one of the things that VPD can affect is nutrient uptake as i have now learned.. leading to issues with your plants!!

I put my Skyline back in last night.. the climate changed almost immediately.. temp down RH up.. and the plant looked so much happier.

Then I remembered.. I grew that big Mazar under the Mars light.. in the conditions it generated with VPD a mile off range for most of its life.. so its no wonder she struggled especially after the introduction of the Silic Rock!!

Just wanted to share that experience and the importance of VPD.. im sure all you sensible growers out there already know.. but it may help someone someday! VPD.. it seems to matter lol

Anyway.. while i have you.. anyone interested in a Mars 300w light.. barely used.. mates rates :pass:
