Greetings and welcome to the group! I would start as many as you have beans, or as many for the space you have. It’s great to have plants a couple weeks apart if you can; that way the next harvest is always around the corner. And with autos the light cycle is not really a limiting factor. Good luck!

Lights too close, and/or too much food can injure young plants.
Be careful, and err on the side of too little, not too much.

My plants are currently a staggered grow, so it's not a problem. When I grew with mass built leds, I ran my lights continuously. When I was using two of those lights, I would put the new plants on crates to raise up.
