Indoor Just a couple quick questions

Hello everyone, Im new to the forum!

Im on my third autoflowering grow, my first with a 400w hps, before that i was justing a 2ft 4bulb t5. Right now im growing a dinafem ww and a dinafem critical+.

I plant the white widow in soil on the 1st of Nov, the critical+ was on the 29th of oct. I started them both with the t5, but upgraded to the 400w hps two days ago. The plants look fine, other then the fact the white widow is about 3x smaller then the critical+, but the critical+ has a little yellowing at the tips, I never notice it til i got the hps in there, I was just curious if it was maybe due to the light being so close? Heres some pictures

thanks! ive pretty much narrowed it down to lack of nitrogen or heat burn, so i guess im gonna raise the light and see if that helps.
