Indoor Killer's Nekromanteía : Royal Queen Seeds - Royal AK & Royal Jack

IMHO I would go water/feed/water/feed etc BUT do pay attention to the feed plan as outlined on the bottle of nutes. Overfeeding is as bad as overwatering.
Good luck. eP.

The instruction was for a full dose which is a whole capful and it says feed once a week. Should i follow the instructions or can i go water/feed/water/feed etc because i am using 1/4 dosage.

I don't know anything about your nutes, but I would feed similar to what you did your first grow. Good general advice is to feed weakly weekly.

Alright i think i might just feed weekly. The reason why i am not feeding at every watering is because i am afraid of salt build up in the soil which might lead to more problems. What do you think, Briain ?

I like the idea of quarter strength y/n/y/n/y/n......

or

n/n/n/n/y full strength

With auto's we have not got months to play with. So I prefer the regular dilute feed regime. But, each to their own. Whatever you decide, keep notes for the next grow, then you can make comparisons. It is not an exact science. Different varieties react differently too. So, the more you grow the more you know.
oooH, I could use that as my catch phrase. Good luck, eP.

In my opinion it depends on how much other additives your going to use as well as your base nutes. I like to idea of feeding every time i water but never going over 1/4 strength to whole way through the grow, never over half with additives. So in my opinion your not letting as much salts build up as you would if your using half or full the whole way through because your not using as much nutes. But all in all if you do it this way its a good idea to give a small flush just before you change to bloom nutes, this will ensure your soil has been washed of salts and not much of a chance for a build up happening at this point as you will be flushing again soon coming to harvest. But honestly its whatever you feel is right dude. Just for an example, now your set up might be different to mine so id say its not going to be the same for you but... In my last grow i used chemical nutes and bio bizz, switched between both on every watering, i was feeding every 2-3days.. Now i know there is no salts in the bio bizz and sometime they can have a little Nitrogen claw but i never flushed either plant till harvest. There was a small bit of salt build up, a little more than what i was used to but it was nothing to worry about so my opinion is to just flush in between veg/bloom and you will be golden if feeding nutes on every watering.
Sorry for the long rant man i just hope i helped you dude.

If youre watering every 2 or 3 days, you should have no issues with salt build-up. With that many waterings, you can easily flush once in awhile or whenever you think its needed.. eg in between veg/flower.

I'm worried about salt buildup b/c I'm watering every 7-10 days and need to feed everytime. I'm not sure how I'm going slip in a flush between veg/flower yet.

The issue with salt build up may be over-emphasized. If you are using quarter or half strength nutes I really don't think you have a salt build up issue at all. A final flush before harvest should be enough to cleanse your soil and your end product.

It can often be the case that we over indulge in our thought processes when the job in hand is new to us. But hey, we are growing a plant. It is not rocket science. Yes, we want the best output for our money and effort but this should be fun. FUN, and not a constant worry.
On my first grow I spent many an hour pondering my different regimes and fretting if I was doing the right thing. But, Hey. Its a learning curve.

Enjoy, eP.

Thanks for everyone's feedback and advices. I just got my new phone and i will probably be watering/feeding tomorrow and i will be taking pictures. I have not decided on what feeding regime to follow but i will decide by tomorrow. Once again, thank you! Cheers
