Lighting liquid cooled cobs.....

I like the how the heat is used part. Besides that traditional pin fins with a slight breeze is adequate. Even within some of my tests at double the recommended wattages

Oh yeah they work well air cooled but they could work even better with chilled water.. Check out the Cree datasheets referencing temperature and lumen output correlations

I enjoy how the heat isn't in the grow room it saves on ac or exhausted air for a controlled climate closed room w C02 etc....

They can be built smaller with any angle configuration too

Like a scrog grid with cobs firing from under the canopy up ....

Just got a gang of cobs......20x clu048 1212s 5 @4000k 15x @3500k . I'll split it up between 4 3ft light bars in a 4x8ft tent and run 1000-1400w. It looks like I can hit about 110%+ lumen output if I chill them down low.

Ive been doing it this way for years now...its cheaper for heat sinks. And just makes a ton of sense when u start playing with all the numbers involved w heat transfer etc.im thinking of selling them in a more refined form. Im going to do a diy addition as i build the next ones.
