Alright, I got about 3 hours into Hogwarts Legacy.

I'm generally not an RPG type gamer, and I hate games with magic. I've played Elder Scrolls: Oblivion and Skyrim, and I never roll a magic player in those games, and the only thing I ever use it for is to heal myself.

But....I'm not finding this as annoying as in other games. They did a pretty cool job of making the spell system feel natural and allow you to cast multiple different spells without needing to go into menus and stuff.

The castle is absolutely massive. I've spent the last half hour just wandering around trying to find new places, and you are constantly bumping into entire new areas you had no idea existed. I went through a doorway and down some stairs and found myself in a massive set of greenhouses. The way the staircases move around is trippy. Almost every painting moves around, and some will even talk to you. The suits of armor will move when they are just out of your view. So far, definitely worth the money. Just seeing how excited my wife has been, has been worth it.

Glad you found a game you and the wife can get into.

All your guys drug test talk had me worried . The insurance wanted a full physical with an MRI and the doctor was like "They don't need your blood work or urinalysis its your shoulder." and thank jebus cuz I ain't worried about the weed

I have to do drug tests in order to get a prior auth from my insurance for my adhd meds. The first time the Dr's office told me that I told the girl on the phone "oh, well I'm not gonna pass cause I smoke weed" and she laughed and was like "doesn't everyone? We don't even test for that" and I'm just like oh...OK lmao.

Wow, a little bit of common sense.
