We're going to try the paint and see how that does as well. I might pick up a spray can of polyurethane to give it a quick spray over to seal it on.

Hey Hobbes! Use some spray lacquer unless you are doing one coat. Laquer, you can spray multiple coats and not have to sand in-between coats. Dries super quick as well. With poly, it won't stick to itself so you should sand in-between coats.

Not sure what's at big box stores, but Ace hardware carries Mohawk brand lacquer that's good

oopz forgot to post theze earlier today from this morning'z walkiez....i think it was around 29f....gonna have one more day in the 30'z, then total roller coaster tempz over the course of the week....but mostly sunny skiez, with no snow or rain forecast, so....small merciez ppp

We had tapas for lunch yesterday.... outdoor...and felt blessed.
The wind had turned around..and it was blustery...but not bitter like it has been.......

Everything tastes better outdoors in the warm.
